Pan-Asian eatery Torafuku launches a fall omakase just in time for Thanksgiving. The new offering is available starting October 6 for dine-in.

Botanist at Fairmont Pacific Rim

Give thanks at Botanist this holiday with a three-course Thanksgiving brunch.

The experience begins with a glass of sparkling wine, followed by a hand-crafted cocktail (spirit-free options available) from Head Bartender Jeff Savage, meant to sip while diving into autumn-themed dishes created by Chef Hector Laguna.

Choose from a variety of starters such as homemade burrata salad with salt roasted beets or hand-cut beef tartare with smoked egg yolk, followed by a selection of mains like the slow roasted turkey with roasted fall vegetables and traditional gravy or a carving of prime rib with pomme purée and horseradish cream.

To finish things off, Executive Pastry Chef Kate Siegel has developed a number of sweet ending options, such as a warm brioche pudding with poached cranberries and thyme caramel or the bittersweet chocolate praline fondant with a crispy hazelnut crust.

This exclusive Thanksgiving brunch menu is priced at $78.00 CAD per person and is available October 9 through 11 with seatings available from 11:00am to 2:00pm daily.

Priced at $90.00 CAD per person and available from October 9-11, guests will enjoy new twists on holiday favourites including cauliflower veloute with smoked ham, shaved Burgundy truffle, gorgonzola and pomegranate reduction, and Scrumpy Cider-brined turkey breast with a turkey thigh ballotine.

Set against the backdrop of the North Shore Mountains and YVR’s active runways, this is one dining experience not to miss.

Sun Sui Wah’s Thanksgiving menu for 10 features an 8-course meal with Fresh Clam & Mustard Green Tofu Soup, Rainbow Shredded Chicken with Preserved & Fresh Vegetables, Peking Duck 2-ways, the choice of Pan-Fried Fresh Lobster & Egg Noodles or Sautéed Fresh Crab with Vermicelli Hot Pot, Braised Morels with Abalone & Fish Maw, Spicy Fish Fillet with Sichuan Pepper Oil, Fried Rice with Scallop, and classic Cantonese-style dessert.

Guests have the option to upgrade their meal with Double Boiled Squab with Gastrodia Elata Soup, a traditional squab soup slow-simmered with herbs for over 3 hours; Rainbow Shredded Live Geoduck, a dish made with saltwater clam inspired by Southeast Asia; and Eight Treasure Braised Duck, a tenderly marinated boneless duck filled with a flavourful, savoury stuffing.

Maenam is offering a Turkey Tasting Menu features five flavourful dishes to share, each thoughtfully created to complement turkey as the showpiece ingredient.

This impressive limited-time family-style menu features Turkey Tom Kha coconut soup, Turkey Roulade with Gola curry, Brussels Sprouts Salad, Stir-fried Chanterelles, and Pumpkin Mor Kaeng Custard with cranberry compote.

Dine-in is priced at $66 per person (minimum two guests). Available October 5 through 10 on a first-come, first-served basis by calling Maenam at 604-730-5579; booking well in advance is highly recommended.

Belgard Kitchen

Railtown’s Belgard Kitchen is pleased to be hosting their annual fall feast on Monday, October 11th from 4pm onwards.

The aptly named “Family Dinner” is a gathering for friends and family to enjoy a seasonally inspired meal without any of the heavy lifting or clean up.

This classic Thanksgiving dish consists of white and dark meat wrapped in crispy bacon with creamy cranberry sourdough stuffing.

This roulade is served with smoked causa purée, togarashi spiced cranberry jam and turkey skin puffed chicharron bits. This feature is completed with a 12 hour turkey gravy jus.

Handcrafted dessert by Ancora Ambleside’s Pastry Chef Maika, showcases irresistible Kabocha Panna Cotta for $11 per person.

This unique dessert is made with kabocha squash, crème Chantilly and caramelized yam, ticking off all the boxes for the perfect Thanksgiving dessert.

The Otoño Naranja cocktail by lead bartender Katie Slacks is the epitome of the fall season that is upon us.

This spiced fruit cocktail is made from Woodford reserve bourbon, Kraken black spiced rum, Pierre Ferrand dry curacao and crabapple bitters. For $18, this cocktail will be the beverage to tie the autumnal Thanksgiving celebrations together.

Ancora Waterfront Dining and Patio – False Creek

Festive features are offered at Ancora False Creek from Thursday, October 8 through Monday, October 11, in addition to Ancora’s regular nightly menu.

False Creek’s Thanksgiving feature highlights Executive Chef Sebastian Delgado’s 50oz Tomahawk, $215 for sharing.

This delectable steak is an incredibly tender cut that is buttery and rich in flavour.

It is paired with a house-made chimichurri sauce that originates from Argentina and is accompanied by brussels sprouts and crispy roasted yams.

Diners can enjoy the festivities of Thanksgiving with loved ones by dining together at Ancora False Creek.

This Thanksgiving, Straight & Marrow will be featuring a special item, available on October 8th, 9th and 10th.

Feast, The Neighborhood Table in West Vancouver is offering a traditional turkey dinner.

Delivery is offered throughout the Lower Mainland for additional charge.

Additionally, the team will be offering a ready-to-eat “Hot Pick Up” service available between 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm, October 10-11, available for an additional $50 per package.   

As with previous holiday packages, partial proceeds from packages sold will go directly to Mission Possible, a non-profit organization that supports vulnerable community members in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.

Truffles Fine Foods is offering Traditional Turkey dinner or a Plant Based dinner (vegan) featuring a Leek and Artichoke Pie.

Maenam is offering a Turkey Tasting Menu features five flavourful dishes to share, each thoughtfully created to complement turkey as the showpiece ingredient.

This impressive limited-time family-style menu features Turkey Tom Kha coconut soup, Turkey Roulade with Gola curry, Brussels Sprouts Salad, Stir-fried Chanterelles, and Pumpkin Mor Kaeng Custard with cranberry compote.

The takeout set serves two to three people and is $125.

So many people have experienced the last-minute Thanksgiving dash to the grocery store for a whole rotisserie bird.
