Greens Restaurant
Greens Restaurant has the following festive offerings.
Crafted by Pastry Chef Jana Unkel, Greens’ holiday cookies to-go are a highly coveted tradition that was born during the pandemic and continues to be in high demand, therefore the cookies must be ordered in advance as they do sell out each year. Perfect to share at home with friends or as a holiday host/hostess gift, the cookies are priced at $16 per dozen and include everything from gingerbread, coconut macaroons and peppermint crinkles to Pignoli, cranberry pistachio and Green’s classic date bars. Greens will be serving its regular lunch menu on Christmas Eve, but the restaurant will be closed for dinner, so the employees can spend time with their families and loved ones. Lunch hours are from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Since Greens isn’t open for the Christmas holiday, the restaurant is offering a Christmas To-Go menu. Guests can look forward to a plethora of festive dishes such as Christmas Cobb Salad with Dijon shallot vinaigrette, hard boiled eggs, roasted pumpkin, crispy mushrooms, pickled persimmons, blue cheese, gem lettuces, red onion, and toasted pecans, Portobello Mushroom Wellington with porcini mushroom gravy and don’t forget dessert- Classic Apple Crumb Pie and much more.

They are also offering a holiday tea from November 25 – January 1 featuring fine loose-leaf tea and house-made scones, tea sandwiches, luscious pastries and sweets. Price is $149/adults and $89/kids under 12 exclusive of 20% service charge and 8.625% tax.
Fairmont San Francisco is also coming together with the ‘Queen of Christmas’ Candace Cameron Bure, famed for her starring role on many beloved Christmas movies, and as DJ Tanner on San Francisco favorites Full House and Fuller House. They are offering a special holiday tea with Candace, including Fairmont San Francisco’s famous tea service, Christmas cookie decorating and a special photo moment with Candace. Price is $135/adults and $82/kids under 12 exclusive of 20% service charge and 8.625% tax.
Villon
Villon in the San Francisco Proper Hotel is offering a Christmas in San Francisco 2022 4-course prix-fixe dinner on December 24 & December 25. Priced at $145 per person and $65 for children under 12. Wine Pairing $65.
Festive beverage sections will be available and a reserve wine pairing ($65). They offer indoor and heated outdoor seating.
They are also offering a Nutcracker afternoon Tea experience December 2 – 30 (excluding December 24 and 25) every Friday & Saturday during from 2 pm – 5 pm in their Lounge, or Sunday from 12:00pm – 5:00pm pm in their Dining Room & Lounge. Tea Service will be priced at $65/person ($35 for children under 12 years old with hot chocolate). Your experience includes a raffle ticket for a show at SF Ballet or SF Broadway as well as Proper Hotel stays. Executive Chef Kevin Tanaka has created special Christmas Eve menu, in addition to the a la carte menu, with a four-course prix fixe menu ($95 per person) that features a parsnip bisque with a pomegranate reduction; a winter greens salad with persimmon, pomegranate, candied walnuts and white balsamic vinaigrette; a Niman Ranch tenderloin with cauliflower mousse, cipollini onions, romanesco, cabernet shallot jus; and an eggnog verrine with a gingerbread crumble for dessert.
For Christmas Day, the five-course prix fixe ($150) will include dishes such as a scallop crudo with lemon curd and pickled blueberry, baby red beet salad with shaved fennel and frisée, goat cheese mousse, almond crumble and a citrus vinaigrette; and a pan seared sea bass with butter bean ragout, baby kale, crispy pancetta and preserved lemon parsley gremolata. To finish, a show-stopping Bûche de Noel with a chocolate genoise and peppermint.
