Fairmont Empress

Fairmont Empress has the following Christmas offerings:

Festive Afternoon Tea
Fairmont Empress will be giving a festive twist to their world-renowned Afternoon Tea this holiday season, with Christmas-themed bites and local carolers performing on select dates. Available Wednesday through Sunday, November 17 to November 30, and daily starting December 1, this Festive Afternoon is priced at $89.00 CAD for adults and $45.00 CAD for children. Tea-goers can make it an extra special affair and add a glass of Veuve Clicquot Champagne for $33.00 CAD.

Christmas Eve four course set menu dinner priced at $175 per adult. Reservations for 4 pm – 9 pm.

Christmas Day Buffet
Available Christmas Day only, the culinary team at Fairmont Empress will prepare a festive Christmas Buffet feast, located in the iconic Crystal Ballroom. With seatings available at 2:00pm, 4:30pm and 6:00pm, diners will enjoy a variety of classic holiday favourites, as well as chef attended carving, seafood and children’s menu stations. This Christmas Day Buffet is priced at $139.00 CAD for adults and $70.00 CAD for children, with reservations being required.

Christmas Day four course set menu dinner priced at $195 per adult. Reservations for 4 pm – 9 pm.

Boxing Day Brunch a la carte menu featuring delicious sweet and savoury brunch items. Order an Empress Caesar or West Coast Mimosa, and you’ve got the perfect start to your day. Reservations recommended.

Fairmont Empress will be the host location for the Coke Canada Bottling’s Coca-Cola Holiday Truck Tour grand finale event this holiday season. Join Fairmont Empress and Coca-Cola Canada on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm for a holiday gathering featuring the arrival of the festively decorated Coca-Cola Canada Holiday Truck, as well as local musical performances, snow globe displays and safely distanced photo ops with Santa.

Festive Turkey to Go
The Festive Turkey Dinner To-Go includes Herb Brined and Slow Roasted Free Run Turkey, Sourdough-Sage Stuffing, Rosemary and Garlic Roasted Mashed Potatoes, Maple Roasted Roots and a Rich Turkey Gravy. Priced at $450.00 CAD, this festive feast serves 8-10 people. Orders must be placed by 12:00pm on December 22, with pick-up available between 12:00pm and 6:00pm on December 24 and December 25.

Holi-Stay Package
In Victoria, those looking to stay close to home and close to loved ones can take advantage of the Holi-Stay Package at Fairmont Empress. Open for stays now through December 31, special rates starting at $199.00 CAD per night ($219.00 CAD per night with parking included) will be available. Whether attending a festive event at the hotel, or needing an easy location after holiday shopping, guests can simply tipsy-toe to the elevator and spend the night with this special offer for locals.

The Courtney Room

The Courtney Room is offering a festive dinner feast on December 24th or 25th, 2021.

Choose from two delicious menus:

Three-course Prix Fixe Menu ($110 per person), features Roasted Scallops with bacon and prawn XO sauce or Beef Tenderloin Tartare with shiso mayonnaise and seabuckthorn to start; Black Olive Crusted Ling Cod with caper, brandade and wilted greens; Roasted Duck Breast with celeriac, apple and chestnut terrine and spruce cabernet vinaigrette; or 6oz Brant Lake Wagyu Bavette with wild mushrooms and peppercorn jus; and a choice of house-made desserts including Chocolate Cremeux, Lemon Tart or Gingerbread Pound Cake with Caramel Panna Cotta to finish.

Family Style Menu ($110 per person): a grand spread to share, with eleven dishes for the table including House-made Focaccia; a local Seafood Selection; Slow Baked Ling Cod; Roasted Winter Squash; Brant Lake Wagyu Beef Bavette; Confit Potatoes; Wilted Winter Greens; and an array of desserts to finish.

This December, gather safely with family and friends over the festive season with a group reservation at The Courtney Room and enjoy a choice of dinner menus including à la carte, prix fixe and family style throughout the month. The Courtney Room is open for both lunch and dinner bookings through until the end of the year.

Oak Bay Beach Hotel

The Oak Bay Beach Hotel is offering the following for Christmas:

Christmas Day Brunch in the Grand Lobby: this lavish dining experience includes an omelet station and carving station with all the works, created by Executive Chef Kreg Graham.

There will be four seatings for brunch held at 10:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 12:30 p.m on December 25. Reservations required. A minimum of 2 guests per reservation, with a maximum of 8. Please note, each seating is for 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Priced at $89 per adult; child (3-12 years of age) $39; children under 2 free.

Christmas Dinner in The Snug: Three course set menu with four seatings at 5:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m on December 25. Tickets: $95 (Ages 19+). Reservations required.

Please note that reservations will be taken for Overnight Hotel Guests only until Dec. 1, 2021, at which point they will then be opened up to the general public.

Christmas Dinner in The Dining Room: 3 course table d’hote dinner with reservations beginning at 5:00 p.m on December 25. Tickets: $175. Please note, this price includes wine pairings. Reservations required.

Breakfast With Santa: This family-style brunch service will include personalized house-made cookies with each child’s name on them, a visit from Mr. Claus himself, as well as on-site photo printing by Four Frames Photo Booth to bring the merry memories home.

Minimum purchase of two tickets. Tickets must be pre-purchased online. No ticket sales at the door. No more than 8 guests per one group, including children/infants.

Tickets: Adult $68; Child (3-12 years of age) $36; Children 2 and under are complimentary. Multiple dates between November 27 and December 19, 2021.
