Victoria Harbour House Restaurant
Victoria Harbour House Restaurant is offering a 3-course Christmas day menu priced at $85.95 per person. All reservations require a $20 deposit to hold your table. Seatings at 4 pm or 6:30 pm.
Bear Mountain Resort
Bear Mountain Resort has the following festive events:
Breakfast with Santa: Sunday’s, December 4th, 11th, & 18th, from 10 am – 2 pm. Enjoy a festive breakfast buffet and create special memories with family and friends with a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Remember to bring your camera for a photo with Santa. $79.00 plus tax per person, and children ages 5-10 are $35.00 plus tax.
Christmas Eve dining: Chef Kiran Kolathodan will serve a four-course menu that reflects the festive season while the Paul Wainwright Duo plays beautiful jazz music in the background. The evening will inspire cheer and awe through our senses of smell, taste, and hearing. Dinner is from 5 pm – 9 pm and is $110.00 plus tax per person.
They are also offering a festive Christmas day brunch buffet 10 am – 2 pm with a live carving station featuring Fraser Valley turkey. $99 per person, children 5-10 half price.
They are also offering a four-course Christmas dinner with all the familiar favorites and a touch of extravagance to make this year’s Christmas dinner extra special. Dinner service is from 5 PM – 9PM / $110 Per person.
Fairmont Empress
Fairmont Empress has the following festive offerings:
Festive afternoon tea available 7 days a week, beginning late November.
Afternoon tea in the historic Lobby Lounge is always an occasion to remember. This season we take the experience to a whole new level with traditional ingredients brightened by festive hues and Christmas carolers. Adults $89, children $45.
They also offer the festive afternoon tea to go available from November 17 – November 30, Wednesday through Sunday and available 7 days a week starting December 1.
Festive Cocktails in Q Bar
Their crafty mixologists have curated a holiday bar menu bursting with creative modern variations of classic festive cocktails. Open daily for lunch & dinner from 11:30 am.
Christmas on the Veranda
Enjoy a selection of hot beverages in Christmas spirit and well known Christmas bites while delighting in s’mores around the fire on the veranda overlooking Victoria’s sparkling Inner Harbour. Available Friday through Sunday during December 18 – 20 & December 24 – 27 from 4:00pm – close. Please note that availability is walk-in only. No reservations will be taken.
Christmas Day Buffet in the Crystal Ballroom
Enjoy the chef attended carving stations, seafood and classic Christmas dishes in the Crystal Ballroom. December 25 with seatings available at 2:00 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. $150 per adult + $70 per child.
Holiday Turkey To-Go
This year, let the culinary team at Fairmont Empress prepare your Christmas feast! Complete with all the holiday fixings, your friends and family will be so impressed with your festive turkey dinner. Available for pickup on December 24 from 2 pm – 6 pm and December 25 from 12 p.m. – 6p.m. $499 per package (prepaid package serves 10).

Christmas in Victoria 2022 Day Brunch
December 25 with seating at 10:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 12:30 p.m. This lavish brunch buffet event includes an omelet station and carving station with all the works, created by Executive Chef Kreg Graham. Reservations required. Adult $129 + tax; Child (3 to 12 years old) $59 + tax; Infant (2 and under) complimentary.
Christmas Dinner in The Snug Pub
Enjoy a three course menu featuring traditional Christmas turkey with all the classic fixings, the perfect way to celebrate the magic of this special day. Reservations required and can be made for two seatings at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., for groups of 2 to 8 guests. This is a 19+ event. Penny Farthing is offering Brunch with Santa on Sunday, December 11. Includes Brunch Buffet, photo with Santa and treats for the kiddos.
They are also offering Wreath Making Classes with The Good Party on select nights. During these wreath making workshops each participant will receive a welcome glass of bubbles and will create a 12inch evergreen wreath complete with a bow. Workshops include step-by-step beginner paced instruction and all supplies. If you have your own clippers, please feel free to bring them! Lights of Wonder
The Lights of Wonder display at Centennial Square is running from December 15th – 31st. This outdoor event will feature four interactive light tunnels, a 40-foot festive tree, and live entertainment.
41st Annual Dickens Fair
The Dickens Fair is one of Victoria’s oldest and best-loved Holiday craft fairs. Curated Vancouver Island artisans offer a great variety of handmade and homemade products at affordable prices. James Bay Community Center, December 3rd, 10:00 am – 4:30 pm.
Butchart Gardens
Bundle up and take a winter stroll at the Butchart Gardens all decked out in thousands of twinkling lights. A time must be booked in advance, gardens are open from December 1 – January 6 from 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm during the holiday season.
Annual Festival of Trees
See the Bay Center transformed into a lush forest of hand-decorated trees. Share in the spirit by voting for your favourite tree, with all proceeds supporting the most urgent health care needs of kids in BC and BC Children’s Hospital. November 27 to January 3rd – free.
Gingerbread Showcase
Make your way over to the Parkside Hotel & Spa. This will mark your first stop of the Gingerbread Showcase held by Habitat for Humanity from November 26, 2022 to January 2, 2023. Artists and sculptors of all ages come together to craft formidable gingerbread houses – or castles, mansions, towers, palaces! Grab a very fitting gingerbread-latte from Tre Fantastico (located in the Parkside’s building) and walk through an icing-frosted village where gingerbread men, kids, cats, dogs, and sometimes even dragons come together to play.
Tally-Ho Carriage Tours
Tally-Ho Carriage Tours is carrying on their annual tradition of exploring the lovely heritage district of James Bay, via horse-drawn sleigh. While you can book your 30, 45, or 60 minute tour any time of the day, we recommend booking it later in the day as you will be able to see the neighbourhood’s dazzling holiday lights.
Victoria Harbour Lights
Victoria Harbour Ferry will be offering their Victoria Harbour Lights – A Winter Dream tour from December 2nd to the 31st from 5pm onward.
It is a 45-minute narrated upper harbour voyage that tells the story of a child’s Winter Dream with 3-dimensional projected animations and sound-reactive lighting installations. The story inspires warm thoughts of the people we treasure, reminding us that this time of year is meant to be shared with those that we love.
Uptown
Uptown – an outdoor shopping and entertainment centre in Victoria, is beautifully lit up and decorated, with an extraordinary Christmas tree in the centre.
