Tim Hortons Real Fruit Review

I picked up the new Tims Fruit Quenchers from my local Tim Hortons in Vancouver. Both came with a strawless lid that had an opening that could be closed. I was also offered straws but didn’t want them.

I thought both flavours were good and tasted like how they were named. I didn’t find them all that sweet which was nice. The peach flavour appealed to me more and tasted more natural.

Overall, I would recommend trying the Tim Hortons Real Fruit Quenchers. I was pleasantly surprised at how refreshing and nice they are.

I didn’t realize that lemonade is put in the strawberry watermelon quencher. I saw them put it in and when I asked about it server was very rude in her response. I only said to her that I didn’t know that lemonade was also used. No where does it mention that it is one of the ingredients.

Unfortunately they include an amount of sugar that prevents diabetics from enjoying this product.

Wow! These are super sweet. Maybe I was fooled by the all-natural claims thinking that it may be low in sugar. They may be all-natural but they are not reconstituting the concentrated juice back up to ratio. Diabetic or not, these drinks are way too sweet unless you are about to run a marathon. They are so sweet that I was actually more thirsty after drinking some and had to drink some water just to dilute the sugary taste. Not sure why food chains feel the need to over-sweeten and over-salt their products.
