Kinzie Chophouse

Kinzie Chophouse will present a 4-course, prix-fixe menu on December 24 from 3 pm – 10 pm highlighting elegant, festive selections. They will offer some a la carte items from their standard menu to help enrich the dining experience. The menu will also offer an optional wine pairing for the course of the dinner.

the Albert

the Albert is offering a Christmas Brunch on December 25. Priced at $49 per person or $55 per person with a glass of champagne. Featuring turkey, ham and prime rib.

Tortoise Supper Club

Tortoise Supper Club is offering a Christmas Eve a la carte menu as well as specials on December 24.

Ditka’s Oakbrook Terrace

Ditka’s Oakbrook Terrace is taking reservations for December 24.

Ditka’s Grill

Ditka’s Grill is is taking reservations for December 24.

Colonial Room at The Drake Oak Brook

Colonial Room at The Drake Oak Brook is offering a Christmas Eve buffet on December 24 from 3 pm – 7 pm. Priced at $85 per adult, $30 for kids 6-12, and 5 and under are free.

They also offer Brunch with Santa on December 11, 17, and 18. Priced at $75 per adult; $40 for children ages 6-12; $20 for children 3-5; children under 2 are free. Tax and gratuity are not included.

They are also offering a high tea on select dates between November 19 and January 21. Featuring an assortment of fresh pastries, fruit bread, scones, and assorted finger sandwiches with your tea. High tea is served on Saturdays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m $55 for adults, $25 for children (4-12) children 3 and under are free.

Sunda New Asian

Sunda New Asian is offering their take on festive holiday eats that are perfect for a Christmas Dinner At-Home. Priced at $180 and serving 4 guests, the Christmas menu features dishes like Roasted Turkey, Confit Turkey Legs, Shishito Mashed Potatoes, Street Corn Stuffing, Biscuits, Gravy and more! Easy to follow reheating instructions are included with each package. Please note, Sunda New Asian will be closed on Christmas Day.

Park and Field is hosting a Kid’s Christmas Party on December 11. $10 per ticket. Face Painters, Musical Performance by Mr. Scott, S’mores Roasting! $12 Kid friendly buffet. Buffet cost is in addition to the admission fee. Everyone two and over must purchase a ticket.

Carnivale

Carnivale is offering Brunch with Santa on December 4 and 18. Adults are $55. Children ages 10 and under years are $25.

The Peninsula Chicago

The Peninsula Chicago has the following festive offerings:

Festive Afternoon Tea enjoyed beneath the 20-foot Christmas tree has become a holiday tradition for many families. The menu features a traditional English tea menu. Vegan and gluten-free options are available. Entertainment is a string duo daily and a visit from Mrs. Claus on weekends. Festive Afternoon Tea is offered November 25, 2022 to January 8, 2023, daily with seatings at 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm for $135 for adults Monday through Thursday, including a glass of Champagne and $55 for children (under 12 years); and $150 for adults Friday through Sunday, including a glass of Champagne; and $75 for children (under 12 years). Prices exclude tax and gratuity. $10 from every adult-priced Afternoon Tea will be donated to the Chicago Public Library.

A very special Christmas Eve menu is planned in The Lobby in honor of this auspicious holiday. Dining beneath the grand Christmas tree, guests will savor a five-course prix fixe dinner and dessert buffet. A trio band will provide the entertainment. Christmas Eve dinner is $275 per person, with an option to add wine pairings for $65 per person. Children 12 years and under may order from The Lobby’s children’s menu. Prices exclude tax and gratuity.

A specialty Christmas Day Brunch in The Lobby features a menu with plated à la carte options combined with buffet items served from the following stations: a Carving station; a Grande Seafood station; a Cheese station, and to complete the dining experience, a decadent Dessert station of verrines, tartlettes, yule logs and more. A string quartet provides the entertainment as well as a magician to entertain children. Brunch buffet seatings are from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The first two brunch seatings are $325 per adult, and includes a glass of Champagne; the last seating is $295, and includes a glass of Champagne; $85 per child, five to 12 years. Z Bar

Z Bar is offering an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party on December 17. This exclusive party provides entry and a glass of champagne. The entry fee will be $25 excluding tax and gratuity.

NoMi

Begin the Christmas celebrations and jingle all the way to NoMI for a joyful Christmas Eve dinner overlooking the twinkle of the Lake Michigan and historic Magnificent Mile. Celebrate the comforts and joys of Christmas Day for a midday jubilee at NoMI. The 4-course, prix-fixe menu marries the holiday’s warm hearted cheer with the spirit of the holiday season’s bright lights featuring a soulful Acorn Squash Soup with roasted pumpkin seed, fine herbs, and espellette; Lemon Garlic Kale Salad with sliced almonds, dried cherries, and roasted squash; and a Roasted Duck complemented with apple cider duck jus. Optional wine pairings are also available for purchase. Adelle’s (Wheaton) is offering a Christmas Eve dinner menu. A limited a la carte regular dinner menu and a children’s menu will be served on the holiday. But the entire full dinner menu will not be available.

Lirica

Lirica is offering a Christmas Eve dinner menu. They will be offering special menu items like Carved Ham and Bone-In Short Rib. Round out the meal with Peppermint Brownie served warm and topped with ice cream. Discounted valet parking available with restaurant validation.

They also offer a Christmas Day brunch menu. Featuring classic dishes that have a Spanish twist including French Toast, Breakfast Burritos or Spanish Sausage and Eggs.

Froggy’s

Froggy’s (Highwood) is offering a Christmas Eve menu. Priced at $75 per person. Choice of soup or appetizer, house salad, choice of fish or meat, choice of dessert.

Artango Bar & Steakhouse

Artango Bar & Steakhouse is offering a Christmas Day 3-course prix-fixe menu on December 25 starting at 2 pm. Priced at $75 per person. Beverages, tax, and gratuity are not included. Including a choice of appetizer, entree, and dessert. Kids 12 and under may order from the kid’s menu. Live Latin Jazz make your celebration memorable. The Christmas Day menu is for each guest to enjoy individually.

Avli River North

Avli River North is offering Christmas to-go for 2 available for pick-up on December 21- 24. Priced at $100 for two.

I|O Godfrey Roofscape

I|O Godfrey Roofscape is offering a Christmas Eve brunch buffet with Santa on December 24 from 11 am – 2 pm. Priced at $49 per adult and $15 per child under 12.

Soul & Smoke

Soul & Smoke is offering Christmas Eve to-go available for pick-up on December 24 at Evanston, West Loop and Avondale locations. Some items offered include:

CheSa’s Bistro & Bar

The new CheSa’s Bistro & Bar is offering a special three-course menu on Christmas Eve, December 24, with four seatings: 5 PM, 6:30 PM, 8 PM and 9:30 PM serving a three-course gluten free menu. A three-course children’s menu is also being offered. Reservations are required by calling 773-754-8523.

For Starters, choose from delicious Waygu Sliders, Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, Cheddar Jalapeno Cornbread or Beet Salad. The main course offers you choice of Cajun Grilled Lamb Chops, Short Ribs & Red Grits, or CheSa’s Gumbo. Choose from CheSa’s Mousse or Chocolate Lava Cake for dessert. Everything at CheSa’s is gluten free! The cost is $95 for adults or $45 for children 12 and under.

The regular a la carte menu also will be available at menu pricing.

CheSa’s is offering its complete catering menu for takeout. All orders must be confirmed by December 22 for pickup on December 25 between 3 – 5 PM.

Travelle at The Langham

Travelle at The Langham is offering a Christmas Day brunch from 11 am – 2:30 pm. Priced at $265 adults, $60 per child age 5 – 12. Featuring a buffet, carving, seafood and dessert stations while children enjoy a visit with Santa Claus.

They also offer a Christmas Day 4-course dinner from 5:30 pm – 10 pm. Priced at $165 per adult, $60 per child. Featuring Wagyu short rib and rib of Pork porcelet.

Cebu

Cebu is offering Christmas Dinner To Go for pickup on December 24. Package for 4 priced at $200. Includes Lumpia, Calamari, Cebu Lechon, Lechon Manok Inasal, Grilled Gambas prawns, Garlic Rice, Ube Cheesecake.

The Fresh Market

Guanajuato

Guanajuato in Winnetka and Taco’s Guanajuato in Kildeer have the perfect solution to delicious holiday entertaining.

Celebrations are second nature to Margarita Challenger, owner of the two popular Mexican restaurants, Guanajuato, located at 1003-1005 Green Bay Road in Winnetka, IL and Tacos Guanajuato, its casual sister, at 20771 N. Rand Rd. in Kildeer.

Both restaurants offer catered meals and to go. Orders must be received by December 21 for pickup on December 23 as they are closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
