Christmas in Atlantic City 2021
Carmine’s
Family-style Italian restaurant Carmine’s is serving a bountiful Feast of the Seven Fishes for the first time ever this year!
The Italian-American tradition originated in Southern Italy, with Catholics abstaining from eating meat on Christmas Eve and replacing it with fish.
Over time, it became customary to serve seven or more seafood dishes as the base for a classic Christmas Eve dinner.
Carmine’s holiday seafood feast starts with their fan-favorite Fried Calamari, and a choice of Baked Clams or Clams on the Half Shell, followed by Shrimp Cocktail. For the entree, there’s a choice of red or white Clam Sauce over pasta, Mixed Seafood with pasta, Shrimp Scampi, and Salmon Oreganata. As with all their dishes, each is served family-style, more than enough for four to six people, for a plentiful feast. The special is $350 and is available for dine-in only, with reservations required.
For Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, additional specials available for dine-in, take-out, or delivery include Roasted Beef Tenderloin ($175) with grilled asparagus, contadina potatoes, and roasted mushrooms, pan-seared Chilean Seabass Cioppino ($140) with clams, mussels, and scallops, and Penne Boscaiola ($45) with sweet Italian sausage, spicy soppressata, and mushrooms. Their full menu of classic Italian dishes will also be available
Ryfe Restaurant and Bar
Ryfe Restaurant and Bar is taking reservations on December 24 and 25.
They are also hosting an Ugly Sweater Holiday Party and Contest on December 17 with entertainment, food, drinks, and, of course, prizes for the ugliest sweater.
On December 18, they are having their Holiday Gala and fundraiser with 100% of all donations and 20% of all net sales going to the Four Diamonds Fund whose mission it is to conquer childhood cancer and support families faced with the battle against cancer. In addition, 50% of your ticket purchase price also goes to the Four Diamonds Fund. Your ticket includes: passed appetizers from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, two drink tickets, and live entertainment. Adult only event. Food/dinner will be available to purchase all night
Il Verdi – Tropicana Atlantic City
Il Verdi – Tropicana Atlantic City is offering il Verdi’s “Feast of the Seven Fishes” on Christmas Eve. This 5-course tasting menu is priced at $85 per guest. Please note, il Verdi’s traditional a la carte menu will NOT be available on this night.
