Hotel Paso del Norte
Hotel Paso del Norte, Autograph Collection in El Paso, Texas is setting the table with three gourmet options. It’s part of our 109th anniversary celebration as they opened on Thanksgiving Day in 1912.
To celebrate, Chef Jason Brumfiel is curating an all-day Thanksgiving brunch at Sabor, a fine dining event at 1700° Steakhouse, as well as a gourmet meal to go from the hotel’s catering kitchen. Read more below.
Dine with Sabor
An all-day brunch awaits at Sabor, the hotel’s southwest and southern-comfort inspired restaurant.
Choose from Carved Turkey with giblet gravy or cranberry sauce, cornbread stuffing, and candied yams; or Prime Rib with rosemary au just or horseradish sauce, mashed potatoes, and green bean casserole.
The buffet line will serve Oak Grilled Salmon, Smoked Pork Belly, and a seafood bar, along with a menu that will evolve from AM to PM.
In the morning, enjoy an omelet station, pancake station, potato casserole, pastries, yogurt parfaits, and oatmeal, among other options.
The afternoon brings a pasta station, taco station, chorizo mac-n-cheese, soups including pozole, salads, and more.
It wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without dessert!
In the morning there will be donuts, churros, cinnamon rolls, pastries, and more. The afternoon lineup includes pumpkin pie, pecan pie, cakes, cobblers, and brownies for starters.
Reservations are encouraged. Outdoor seating is available. Priced at $69 per person. $39 per child.
Dine with 1700° Steakhouse
For the ultimate fine dining Thanksgiving experience, 1700° Steakhouse is serving a special prix fixe menu that includes four courses.
Start with Roasted Butternut Squash Soup, served in a butternut squash bowl with Mexican chocolate and foie gras cremeaux, toasted pumpkin seeds, and shaved black Oregan.
After your soup, cleanse your palette with Mulled Cider Sorbet made with port wine syrup, candied orange peel, and mulled spice tuile.
Turkey Ballotine served with roasted turkey demi glace will make for a satiating main course.
It will be served chestnut dressing, chipolata sausage blanket, whipped potato, honey and thyme roasted rainbow carrots, and crispy Brussel sprouts.
Divulge in deconstructed pumpkin pie to end your evening.
