Storm Crown Tavern on Commercial Drive has announced (see post here) that they will be permanently closing.
Known as a “nerd bar,” Storm Crow Tavern was a place for people to gather for food and beer, play board games and discuss things related to Sci-Fi and Fantasy.
The Tavern had been experiencing many challenges including an expiring lease in an aging building slated for redevelopment aside from narrow margins and the pandemic crisis was a fatal blow to the business.
The Tavern’s sister restaurants including the Storm Crow Alehouse on West Broadway and the Storm Crow Manor in Toronto will be fighting to reopen in the future.
