Smoked Salmon Tomato Salad
Featuring smoked salmon, slice tomato, onion, organic spring mix, crispy garlic, potato flakes, sweet soy dressing. This was a unique and tasty starter with a nice textural contrast from the potato flakes.
Assorted Tempura
8 pieces including prawn, broccoli, asparagus, yam, zucchini. The tempura had a nice and light, crispy batter.
Salmon Mountain Roll
Avocado, cucumber, fish roe, prawn tempura, topped with mashed salmon, temp flakes, special mayo, wasabi mayo, teri sauce. I really liked the textures of the crunchy prawn tempura and mashed salmon along with a spicy kick from the wasabi mayo.
Korean Chirashi Don (secret menu item)
Featuring tamago, tako, salmon, toro, ebi, tuna, surfclam, veggie, seaweed on top, rice under
Sweet & Sour Chicken
We also liked the Sweet & Sour Chicken which was crispy and juicy.
Spider Futomaki
5oz Soft shell crab, lettuce, cucumber, avocado, Fish Roe, Mayo, Sesame oil
Blue Yuzu Roll
Osaki crab, avocado, bluefin tuna, yuzu mayo, serrano pepper. This was my favourite roll of what we tried.
Assorted Sashimi
Amaebia head and sashimi, hotate gai, hamachi, surflam hokigai, tai, salmon, tuna. Fresh and delicious.
Assorted Tuna Nigiri
Chu-toro, o-toro, akami
The quality and the prices of the dishes at Sushi California are reasonable.
