If you’re planning to visit Playland this year, here’s a look some of the food options that are on site. I have included photos of the food vendor and menus wherever possible based on the opening day media event that I attended.

BeaverTails

A Canadian favourite, these customizable, hand-stretched float-fried pastriesare served hot and can be topped with a range of candy toppings.

Candy Shoppe

At the Candy Shoppe, bulk candy is sold at $3.00 per 100 g. They also sell lollipops and pucker powder.

Caramel Apples, Cotton Candy, Popcorn

Fair staples like caramel apples, cotton candy and popcorn are available.

Cheese Please

Cheese Please specializing in grilled cheese sandwiches is located in Kids Playce in Playland across from Helicopters. They serve classic and specialty grilled cheese sandwiches.

Coaster Dogs

Coaster Dogs serves fresh hand-dipped corn dogs and loaded hot dogs. Popular side options include mac and cheese or their famous fried potatoes swirls.

Fresh-Squeezed Lemonade

Cool down with an ice cold fresh-squeezed lemonade at various lemonade stands on site.

Fundunkers Donut Shop

Fundunkers is home of the famous, cinnamon and sugar-covered PNE Mini Donut! Fundunkers has two locations at Playland: at the South end of the Games line and North of Hells Gate.

Gone Fishing

Gone Fishing serves fresh Ocean Wise hand-dipped battered fish with fresh cut Kennebec fries and homemade tartar sauce. Other options include fish tacos and Wild Salmon Salad.

Pizza Pizza

Located along the Games line, Pizza Pizza sells pizza by the slice ($5.50) or as a 16″ pie ($28). Choices include cheese, pepperoni, Super Hawaiian, and vegetarian.

Scoops

Located across from Hell’s Gate, Scoops sells conesor cups in single ($5) or double scoops ($6.50). Waffle cones, chocolate-rimmed cones and toppings are extra. Also on the menu are sundaes, ice cream waffle tacos, banana splits, and milkshakes.

S’luscious

S’luscious is an alcoholic “slushy” stand that serves custom drinks for adults. Flavours include Peach, Lime, Mango, Strawberry, and Pina Colada.

Buen Gusto Tacos & Totchos

At Buen Gusto Tacos & Totchos, you’ll find tacos served in soft flour or crunchy corn tortillas with choice of protein (chicken, pork or ground beef). They also have “totchos” or tater tot nachos featuring cheese, carnitas, fresh salsa and chipotle cream.

Triple O’s Restaurant

Triple O’s features made-to-order burger combos and milkshakes and is located just by the Main Gate of Playland.

What the Fudge

Located south of the Hell’s Gate ride, What the Fudge offers homemade fudge, candy apples, and rainbow floss.
