My Review of Loaded Bowls

Tim Hortons sent me their new Loaded Bowls to try and I thought they were really good!

All the ingredients were fresh; sauces were great; and the crispy and slow-cooked chickens were good.

And the bowls are just $8.99 (under $10 bux) which is great considering the current inflationary environment. Quality of ingredients and portions very reasonable.

The bowls didn’t feel or taste cheap, but rather good quality overall. I would recommend giving them a try!

Sharing is caring!

What is the complete ingredients list for the grains, besides rice and quinoa?

Very poor fibre content. What are the hearty grains?!

Had the crispy chicken cilantro lime bowl. It was not bad BUT there was not even a hint of cilantro or lime in the one I had and there was only a slight drizzle of the dressing only over the greens. There was only 1 black bean and 2 corn kernals in the rice. Despite the fact that the chicken was very good I was Very disappointed with the lack of flavour in the rest of the salad.

They sound delicious, but, at average, 1200mg of sodium per bowl!!!! A heart attack waiting to happen for some and very unhealthy at best!!! Why take a "healthy" alternative and load it with so much sodium??!!! That's more sodium than anyone should have in one sitting and for anyone with high blood pressure and a preferable max sodium of 1500mg of sodium per day, I hope people take the time to read the nutritional ingredients. Come on Tim's get it together with the latest on sodium intake and education!!
