Park Avenue Tavern
Park Avenue Tavern will serve a three-course classic Thanksgiving meal for $65 for adults. Michelin-recognized MIFUNE New York will be hosting a ten course Thanksgiving tasting menu from Executive Chef Tomohiro Urata. The experience will showcase Chef Tomo’s signature style of creatively blending French and Japanese cuisine that encompasses influences from his work in Japan and at some of the top restaurants in France like two Michelin-starred La Relais de la Poste in Magescq, three Michelin-starred Régis & Jacques Marcon in Saint-Bonnet-le-Froid and three Michelin-starred Maison Troisgros in Roanne. Priced at $200 per person, the featured entrée is an Organic Turkey pie made with truffle, foie gras, and porcini mushroom, and highlighting Chestnut Flan for dessert. MIFUNE New York will be serving Thanksgiving Dinner from 6 pm to 10:30 pm.
Sweetbriar is the lively modern American restaurant well-known for bridging the gap between contemporary cuisine and classic favorites. Executive Chef Bryce Shuman harnesses live-fire cooking and the bounty of New York to create fresh seasonal dishes with impeccable, yet simple presentations. For Thanksgiving, Chef Bryce has curated a generous, three-course prix fixe menu priced at $85 per person, including side dishes available for the table. Highlights include: appetizers such as a Butternut Squash Velouté with crème fraiche and Aleppo pepper; a Fall Radish Carpaccio with marinated trout roe; Mains including a Hickory Smoked Organic Turkey, light and dark meat, with mashed potatoes, and gravy; a Grilled Hen of the Woods Mushroom with beluga lentils and a mushroom broth; and a variety of sides for the table such as: Cornbread Stuffing and Maple Glazed Sweet Potato with candied pecan, among others. Hortus NYC, the stylish, Michelin-recognized modern Asian restaurant in NoMad has curated a special Thanksgiving Day prix-fixe menu priced at $80 per person. It begins with the Royal Platter with chilled lobster tail, tuna tataki, and shrimp cocktail for two, followed by a crispy wonton, filled with truffle pulled duck and spicy mango. From there, diners choose an appetizer from the a la carte menu, and have a choice of a Truffle Chicken with Foie Gras for two, served with sweet rice and special sides, or an entrée from the menu. The special Thanksgiving Day menu will be available at Hortus NYC for lunch from 11:30 am to 3 pm, and dinner from 5:30 pm to 11 pm.
Parma Nuova, the new casual fine dining Italian restaurant from Owner-Manager Giorgio Manzio, and La Masseria Group, will offer a set menufor Thanksgiving Day pricedat $75 per person. Diners may choose one appetizer, an entrée, and a dessert. Selections from the Thanksgiving menu include butternut squash soup, baked clams, roasted turkey served with a puree of sweet potatoes, corn pudding, and stuffing, and for dessert a homemade pumpkin cheesecake, among other options. Those who do not want to partake in the set menu have the option of ordering a la carte from the Thanksgiving Day menu or Parma Nuova’s dinner menu. The Thanksgiving menu will be available at Parma Nuova for lunch and dinner from 12 pm to 9 pm. Delivery and takeout will not be available.
CHEF GUO, the Manhattan debut of Chinese Master Chef Guo Wenjun, will be open on Thanksgiving Day, with seatings at 6:00 pm and 8:30 pm. The restaurant showcases his proprietary culinary system and his unique brand of cuisine, combining Chinese Imperial cooking and Classic Western cuisine to create his Healthy Royal Cuisine Culinary System. The dishes are made with healthy, organic, and green ingredients, emphasizing nutritional value and a balanced meal. The food is prepared to allow the flavors of the high-quality ingredients to speak for themselves. His cuisine is served in the form of a nineteen-course tasting menu that includes 15 savory courses, three tea courses, and a dessert.
Two Michelin-star restaurant Aquavit is offering a Thanksgiving prix fixe menu that serves four for $575. Chef Emma Bengtsson’s feast includes appetizers like Watercress Salad and Creamy Green Bean Salad, entrees such as Fennel and Caraway Spiced Turkey Breast and Smoked Turkey Leg Sausage, as well as sides like Herb Roasted Root Vegetables, Sweet Potato Puree, Rye and Brioche Stuffing, and Truffled Mushroom Spaetzle; dessert includes Milk Bread, Pumpkin Pie, and Chocolate Trifle Cake. Place your orders now here and will be available for pickup on Wednesday, November 23 from 3-5 pm.
8282, the elevated modern Korean restaurant, will be opened on Thanksgiving Day, operating its normal hours from 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm. 8282 is owned by the affianced couple, previously owners of Pado, Chef Bong Le Jo (Perry St, Dovetail and Kissaki), and Jee Kim, who makes frequent trips to Seoul to ensure 8282’s menu remains authentic. The menu is divided into two categories: small plates called Anju, which means food you eat with alcohol in Korean, and larger shared plates named Banju, meaning alcohol paired with good food. The inventive and playful dishes are complimented by a wide selection of premium Soju as well as craft cocktails.
ICHIRAN is one of New York City’s top dining destinations when it comes to ramen. The restaurant provides solo dining booths for those who may not be gathering with family and friends for Thanksgiving, however, these partitions can be removed for guests to enjoy the company of loved ones.
ICHIRAN’s classic Tonkotsu broth is created with the purest filtered water and pork bones, which normally produce a stronger aroma, but using specific technology and extraction methods, this scent has been eliminated. The broth is rich in natural collagen and ICHIRAN is the first ramen company to use Trans Fat free natural oil. Chef Ari Bokovza’s Thanksgiving Menu at Dagon is exactly what you’d expect – a perfect Mediterranean touch added to their festive fall holiday menu. On Thursday, November 24th, Upper West Side’s buzzy restaurant is offering guests a prix-fixe three-course menu for $75. For the first course, selections include a variety of appetizers such as Apple Fennel Soup, Flash Fried Cauliflower, and Agu’s Tunisian Cigar. For the main course, options include Crispy Roasted Lamb, Steamed Red Snapper, or the Branzino Chraime. And for a sweet finish, the restaurant is offering a choice between Apple Mille Feuille or Pumpkin Creme Brulee. Michelin-Starred Chef Shaun Hergatt is calling all out-of-towners and New Yorkers to celebrate Thanksgiving at his SoHo hotspot, Vestry. On Thursday, November 24th, guests get to pick from a prix-fixe three-course menu for $98. Critically acclaimed Pastry Chef Sam Mason of the newly opened Early Edition Espresso Bar is offering three decadent 10-inch Thanksgiving pies ($60 each): Bourbon Toffee Pecan, Pumpkin with a Pretzel Crust, and Apple Pie with Buttermilk Crust.
