New on Starbucks menu in Canada this summer are the Starbucks Honeycomb Lavender Latte series. The drinks feature Honeycomb Lavender syrup as well as Canadian honey drizzled on top.

The lavender lattes can be enjoyed hot or iced. The Starbucks Blonde ones feature Starbucks Blonde roast which is lighter-bodied and have a mellow acidity. The Creme Frappuccino contains a blend of milk and ice and no espresso.

How do the Honeycomb Lavender Latte and Frappuccinos taste?
I ordered a tall Iced Honeycomb Lavender Latte and a tall Honeycomb Lavender Frappuccino.
For the Iced Honeycomb Lavender Latte, I could taste the espresso and the honey while the lavender taste was very subtle. It had hints of floral flavour and not tasting too “soapy.”
The lavender flavour evaded me in the Starbucks Honeycomb Lavender Frappuccino and I tasted mostly the blend of coffee, milk and ice.
Between the two drinks, I would reorder the Iced Honeycomb Lavender Latte which was nice and refreshing and offered some light, lavender flavours while giving me a nice caffeine boost. I would give it a 3.5/5 rating.
