Sandbar on Granville Island just launched a Happy Hour menu that you need to try!
Enjoy delicious bites in a warm sophisticated atmosphere featuring live music and amazing waterfront views.
The Happy Menu (with gluten-free, vegetarian and Oceanwise options) includes:
- Lobster Sliders ($10.50)
- Bay Shrimp & Avocado Stack ($9)
- Coconut Lemongrass Mussels ($10)
- Ahi Tuna Poke ($10)
- Caramelized Onion & Tomato Pizza ($10)
- Parmesan Truffle Fries ($6)
- Drink Specials: Granville Island Pale Ale or Red Truck Lager ($5) | Red or White Wine ($5 / $8) | Sandbar Highball ($5 / $7.50)
I was invited to try the new Happy Hour menu at Sandbar. Here’s a look at the deliciousness!
The lobster sliders ($10.50) with housemade buns are a must-try. Enjoy the sweet, delicate and buttery flavour in these handhelds.
The Bay Shrimp & Avocado Stack ($9) with smashed avocado and housemade tortilla chips ($9) was a light, refreshing dish. The housemade tortilla chips were very crispy.
Next up, the subtly spicy Coconut Lemongrass Mussels ($10) with ginger, chili and garlic and a side of toast.
I also enjoyed the Ahi Tuna Poke ($10) with fresh cubes of ahi tuna paired with crispy wonton chips.
The Caramelized Onion & Tomato Flatbread Pizza was a delicious shareable ($10). It had balsamic vinegar, goat’s cheese, and arugula.
Another great sharing dish was the Parmesan Truffle Fries ($6) with roasted garlic aioli.
You might catch a visit by “Steven Seagull” who likes to watch guests as they eat.
