Roberta’s Pizza, the pioneering Brooklyn culinary institution founded by Brandon Hoy and two-time Michelin-starred Chef Carlo Mirarchi, opens its newest location in THE PENN DISTRICT.
Located at PENN 1 East at 33rd Street and 7th Avenue, the new outpost will offer a blend of Roberta’s favorites, such as the Neopolitan wood-fired pizzas that have made Roberta’s famous, along with innovations certain to delight commuters, tourists, and New Yorkers alike.
The exciting new restaurant will be open daily from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm and will be the first standalone Roberta’s restaurant in Manhattan.

Roberta’s Pizza in THE PENN DISTRICT combines a full-service restaurant, Tiki Bar, and “to-go” R Slice shop for the first time outside of the original Bushwick location. The new outpost features approximately 200 seats across two stories. The first floor is home to Roberta’s latest concept, R Slice, where guests can enjoy both wood-fired Neopolitan-style pies as well as New York-style pizza by the slice. The second floor features a sun-drenched, nearly 2,000-square-foot roof deck with spectacular neighborhood views, including the newly unveiled Plaza33, Town Hall at PENN 2, and beyond.
The menu will stay true to Roberta’s roots while embracing the energy of the restaurant’s new locale in THE PENN DISTRICT. All of Chef Carlo Mirarchi’s dishes will highlight the finest locally sourced ingredients, combining inventive flavors with subtle international influences. With classic pizza favorites like the Margherita (tomato, mozzarella, basil, extra virgin olive oil) and Famous Original (tomato, mozzarella, parmigiano, caciocavallo, oregano, chili) along with inventive creations such as the Bee Sting (tomato, mozzarella, soppressata, basil, chili, honey) and Ursula’s Parade (clams, lemon, calabrian chili, mozzarella, parsley), there’s something to satisfy every palate. R Slice fare includes the new favorite Fire and Ice (stracciatella, chili oil, basil) and other rotating slice creations. Alongside classic Neapolitan-style pies and handmade pasta, the menu will also feature large-format dry-aged steaks and chops and a diverse selection of fresh seafood options. Guests will enjoy a highly curated selection of spirits and creative cocktails alongside a stellar natural wine program, all while taking in stunning skyline views
Roberta’s Pizza in THE PENN DISTRICT was designed by Winter D’Angelillo and Brandon Hoy. Whether gathering with friends for a casual meal or celebrating a special occasion, Roberta’s Pizza offers a warm and inviting atmosphere for all occasions.

The new establishment joins a diverse array of recent hotspots opening in the neighborhood, including Anita Gelato, Bar Primi and Blue Ribbon Sushi & Steak, and upcoming arrivals such as Avra Estiatorio and The Grand Astro Room, the new concept from Sunday Hospitality, the team behind Cafe Chelsea and Sundays in Brooklyn.
