French’s Not Your Ordinary Caesar Cocktail Mix

It’s no secret that Canadians love a good Caesar.  And with Canada celebrating its 150 birthday, it is very fitting that French’s celebrate our great nation with the launch of the Canadian-crafted and produced Not Your Ordinary Caesar Mix.  Available in both non-alcoholic varieties, Original and Fully Loaded, French’s Caesar cocktail mixes are free of glucose fructose, gluten and contain no artificial flavours, colours or MSG.  The Original is meant as a base for your favourite Caesar recipe while the Fully Loaded version is pre-seasoned with French’s Worcestershire sauce and Frank’s RedHot Original Hot Sauce.  The Fully Loaded can be enjoyed as a ready-to-drink virgin cocktail or mixed with vodka.   In support of a truly Canadian Caesar, French’s has also partnered with the Canadian-produced Polar Ice Vodka.  Recently, French’s reached out to me to try out the Not Your Ordinary Caesar Mix and put my own unique twist on it.  Here is what I came up with:

BC spot prawns are available live right now as it is harvest season and I thought it would be nice to pair them with a delicious Caesar cocktail.  And then I picked up some oysters from Fanny Bay Oysters including Fanny Bay x-small and medium-sized, Kusshi and Sun Seekers.  Lo and behold, the “BC Spot Prawn and Oysters” Caesar Cocktail was crafted.  The idea with the oysters is that we will add the cocktail mixtures to them and top them with vegetables.
