We are currently loving Oroweat keto breads! They are only 6 grams of net carbs per serving and high in fibre. Great in flavour without a lot of carbs.
Here’s a quick Beet, Arugula and Feta Toast that we made:
- 3 medium beets
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) olive oil
- 1/4 tsp (1 mL) each salt and pepper
- 1 ripe avocado, halved, pitted, peeled and mashed
- 4 slices Oroweat® Organic Keto Loaf, toasted
- 1 cup (250 mL) packed arugula
- 1/3 cup (75 mL) crumbled feta
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss beets with oil, salt and pepper. Wrap in double layer of foil; bake for 45 to 55 minutes or until fork-tender. Let cool; peel and slice.
Spread mashed avocado over each slice of toast. Top with beet slices, arugula and crumbled feta.
