French Creperie Food Truck: Chouchou Crepes

Chouchou Crepes is a local food truck specializing in sweet and savoury French-style crepes.  Crepes are typically associated with the Brittany region of France and the crepes from Chouchou are truly Brittany style.  Owner and operator Nathalie Galin’s recipes were inspired by her Bretonne grand-mother, Marie.

For the Vancouver Foodster Crepe Challenge, Nathalie is participating with a popular item on the menu, Madame Vava de Marseille.  The crepe’s flavours takes you to South of France with goat cheese, tomatoes, olive tapenade maison, and greens.  Priced at $10 and available on the regular menu at Chouchou Crepes.  As I am a media judge for the Crepe Challenge, I was able to try this creation.  Here’s a look a how Nathalie makes this crepe.
