Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown is offering a lavish buffet Thanksgiving Dinner in the renowned Colonnade on Thursday, November 23. The first seating begins at 1:00pm and the second seating at 4:00pm. For 38 years, holiday dining in the Colonnade has become a tradition for Washingtonians and visitors alike.
Filled with greenery and bathed in natural sunlight, with soaring ceilings, glass walls and crystal chandeliers, the Colonnade provides perfect surroundings for the festive dining experience. An electric violinist will provide soothing background music.
Executive Chef Jordi Gallardo and Executive Sous Chef Jason Rowley will prepare carved turkey breast, dark meat, gravy, sage stuffing, whipped mashed potatoes, green beans, baby carrots and cranberry-orange jam, served at each table.
A variety of regional favorites will be artfully presented in food stations throughout the Colonnade including; seasonal salads, a from-the-sea raw bar, and a cheese and charcuterie display. A children’s buffet offers breaded chicken tenders, beef sliders, macaroni & cheese, steamed vegetables and tater tots.
Save room for Executive Pastry Chef Claus Olsen’s decadent dessert buffet featuring pumpkin trifle, chocolate bourbon pecan tart, chocolate & brownie 70% mousse cup, pumpkin pie cheese cake log, spiced apple cube, cinnamon bread pudding, black forest verrine, spiced cinnamon pancetta with pumpkin bread, fall macaron, berry donut holes lollipop , pear frangipani tart and Fairmont honey orange almond nougat will please discerning palates of all ages.
Thanksgiving Dinner is presented on Thursday, November 23 at 1:00 pm for the first seating and at 4:00 pm for the second seating. Priced at $169 per person, $69 for children five to 12 years old and free for children under 5 years of age. Complimentary valet parking, soft drinks, juices, coffee and tea are included, along with a glass of sparkling wine for adults. A bar will be available for purchasing additional cocktails.
