Water Street Cafe

Water Street Cafe is hosting a Gala from 7pm to 12:30am on New Year’s Eve with a set menu for $189 per guest.

This includes a 6 Course Menu, live music, welcome bubbles and Midnight Toast; party favours; and midnight snack.

They are also offering a New Year’s Eve Feast for Two to Go. Priced at $175 and includes a 7 course menu.

Versante Hotel (Richmond)

Versante Hotel in Richmond introduces enticing staycation offers that give locals a chance to hit the reset button this holiday season. Celebrate New Beginnings
Club Versante’s two dining venues, Bruno and Cask, invite guests to welcome 2022 in luxury and style with a pair of unique celebrations happening on Dec. 31:

Cask, a whisky-forward cocktail lounge, features a sumptuous four-course menu, with highlights including Caviar Beignet, Dry-aged Beef Tartare, Opal Valley Lamb Chops, Millionaire Chocolate Pave, and more. Sip from a wealth of rare exotic whiskies and handcrafted cocktails, enjoy live music, and visit the social-media-friendly installations before raising a glass of bubbly at midnight.

Brunch at Bruno
From Dec. 25 to 31, Bruno is offering a decadent Seafood Brunch, featuring all-you-can-eat oysters, chilled shellfish, and tuna & crab poke, alongside mouth-watering signatures like Liege Waffles, Salmon & Lobster Benny and Truffle Potatoes. This experience is available for $75 per person and includes a complimentary mimosa. Available from 11am to 2:30pm.

Land and Sea

Land and Sea is offering a New Year’s Eve menu with early seating ($125 per person) and late seating ($150 per person).

Glowbal

Glowbal is hosting a Gala Dinner & Balloon Drop with seatings starting at 8 p.m on New Year’s Eve 2021. Priced at $149 per person.

Chef Alex Kim’s five-course menu, a live DJ and complimentary glasses of bubbly will set the stage for epic end-of-year celebrations at Glowbal’s flagship downtown Vancouver restaurant that will culminate in a 500-balloon drop at the stroke of midnight.

Guests will enjoy an amuse-bouche of Quebec Foie Gras & Tête de Moine and a Winter Squash Velouté before choosing an appetizer (Seared Scallops & Caviar or Wagyu Beef Carpaccio) and entrée (Canadian Beef Tenderloin, Pan-Seared Sablefish & Lobster, or Winter Perigord Truffle Risotto) and ending on a sweet note courtesy of a dessert course of ‘Oreo’ Mont Blanc. Please note: full payment is required at time of booking.

Glowbal will also help guests get a jump on the festivities by hosting a special Friday brunch service from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a final seating at 1 p.m.

Five Sails

Five Sails is hosting a Five-Course NYE Celebratory Menu with seatings starting at 4:30 p.m on Friday, December 31, 2021 or Saturday, January 1, 2022. Priced at $150 per person.

Five Sails hosts a decadent five-course menu that includes a first course of either Celeriac Salad or Foie Gras & Quail Ballotine; a second course of Sunchoke Soup or Beef Consommé; a third course of Chanterelle Mushroom Vol-au-Vent or Braised Heirloom Carrots; an entrée of either Seared Monkfish with Lobster Tortellini or Seared Beef Tenderloin; and a special New Year’s Eve Tower for dessert.

The Roof

New Year’s Eve on The Roof takes place 3 p.m. until late with a la carte service.

The Alberni Street staple will raise the roof for New Year’s celebrations by offering a special à-la-carte menu that includes Chilled Seafood Platters (king crab, kusshi oysters, prawn cocktail, Atlantic lobster tails, ahi tuna sashimi and scallop ceviche), a selection of prime Canadian cuts of beef as well as Japanese A5 Wagyu and Kobe ribeyes and striploins and USDA Prime Tomahawk ribeyes with an array of gourmet starters and sides.

Guests will also enjoy tunes to set the mood courtesy of DJ Kenya, who will spin tracks from 7 p.m. until late.

The Roof will also help early risers get in the right mood for celebrating by offering lunch from 11:30 a.m. on New Year’s Eve and its $15 Burger & Beer Friday special alongside its regular Happy Hour menu.

Trattoria

All three of Glowbal’s trattoria locations in Kitsilano, West Vancouver and Burnaby will serve up special Surf & Turf Sharing Platters for Two on New Year’s Eve that include Tuscan Herb-Marinated Lamb Loin Chops with Mustard-Apple Jelly, Garlic Butter Lobster Tails, Spaghetti Aglio Olio, Thyme Honey-Glazed Carrots and Ricotta & Zucchini Fritters with Lemon Pepper Aioli, with optional bottles of prosecco available for $40 each. Coast

Coast will tempt surf and turf lovers alike on New Year’s Eve with special sharing platters that include The Prime Platter for Two (12oz Slow-Roasted Canadian Prime Striploin, 2lb East Coast Lobster Thermador served with truffle whipped potato, grilled broccolini with Parmesan cheese, classic Béarnaise sauce and red-wine reduction, $200) or The Deluxe Platter for Four (50oz Snake River Tomahawk, 2lb East Coast Lobster, 4 Pan-Seared Baja Scallops, 4 Giant Black Tiger Prawns and 2 Split Snow Crab Legs served with truffle potato, signature Brussels sprouts, classic Béarnaise sauce and a red-wine reduction, $400) with gourmet add-ons such as Wagyu beef skewers, king crab legs and shaved white Alba truffles.

Published on Main

Ring in the New Year with an unforgettable culinary experience at Published on Main and indulge in a nine course tasting menu curated by Executive Chef, Gus Stieffenhofer-Brandson, with accompanying wine pairing by our Wine Director, Jayton Paul.

Five Sails is offering a New Year’s Eve and Day menu priced at $150 per person. Reservations available between 4:30 pm – 9:30 pm on December 31 and January 1.

The Wild Fig – at Executive Plaza Hotel, Coquitlam

The Wild Fig – at Executive Plaza Hotel, Coquitlam is offering a New Year’s Eve celebration featuring a 3-course plated menu. Cap off the night with live entertainment and a chance to toast to a wonderful 2022 ahead.

Alimentaria Mexicana

Ring in the New Year with a family-style four course dinner at Alimentaria Mexicana on Vancouver’s iconic Granville Island.

With an early seating available from 5:30pm to 8:00pm, and a second seating starting at 9:00pm and taking you into 2022, there are plenty of opportunities to weave a taste of Mexico into your celebrations.

Early seating tickets are available for $110 and second seating for $140.

The Chickadee Room

Kiss 2021 goodbye and welcome in the New Year at The Chickadee Room, now accepting reservations for December 31.

Every guest will be greeted with a welcome cocktail and the full Juke Fried Chicken menu will be available to order for those looking for tasty Southern-inspired bites to accompany their cocktails.

Ancora Ambleside

Ancora Ambleside will be ringing in the New Year in style with exclusive menus for December 31. Head Chef Jorge Alberto Kim has designed a four-course New Year’s Eve menu with an amuse bouche ($150 per person).

Featured dishes on the regular menu include a Lobster Bisque Shooter and Northern Divine Caviar to start, an appetizer trio with a Baked Oyster Motoyaki, Smoked Prawn Causa and Dungeness Crab Causa. Next is a Mushroom Risotto and for the entrée, a choice between Aji Panca Glazed Sablefish or Braised Short Rib. Peruvian Spiced Picarones are a much loved dessert at Ancora and will be served as the last course. 

Ancora False Creek

On New Year’s Eve at Ancora False Creek, guests can expect to welcome 2022 alongside delicious dishes prepared by Executive Chef Sebastian Delgado. Offered the night of the 31st is a four-course menu and amuse bouche ($150 per person).

This exclusive NYE menu will showcase an amuse bouche; Beef Tartar and a choice of appetizer; either Cauliflower Panna Cotta or Tiradito NikkeiMushroom Risotto will be served and for an entrée, guests can choose between Lobster or Wagyu Flat Iron. Diners will enjoy a Champagne Parfait to end off the meal.

Maenam

Whether you’ll be ringing in the New Year at home in your coziest sweats or celebrating all that glitters with a night on the town, Maenam’s flavourful dine-in and takeout New Year’s Eve family-style Tasting Menus give you the luxury of choice for delicious celebrations.

Take-home NYE dinner sets are priced at $120 (feeds two to three people) with omnivore, pescatarian, and vegetarian options, while dine-in menus will be thoughtfully chosen in the moment by the chefs considering dietary needs and preferences as well as the number of guests ($62 per person, minimum two people).

Maenam’s dine-in à-la-carte menu will also be offered on December 31 for those looking for a quick pre-party bite.

Maenam’s dine-in family-style New Year’s Eve Chef’s Tasting Menu features a pair of snacks to pique the appetite, two starters (including soup) to begin this stunning feast, a trio of main-course dishes purposely chosen for complementary flavours and textures, and a pair of desserts for a sweet finish.

Black Pepper Crab is also available as a decadent add-on to any New Year’s Eve feast by booking with a minimum 48 hours’ advance notice (Market Price on the day of purchase).

Dine-in guests can order wine pairings by the glass (three glasses for $35), and both dine-in and dine-at-home guests can enjoy a bottle of family-owned B.C. bubbles: Fitzpatrick ‘Fitz’ Cremant 2019 ($55) made with 100% estate grown pinot blanc grapes.

For a casual takeout option, Freebird at Home by Maenam is also available on New Year’s Eve featuring its Festive Feast which includes a whole Asian-style salt-cured roast chicken, fried Brussels sprouts salad, crispy sticky rice made with chicken drippings, house-made sausage, mushrooms and dried cranberries, and hazelnut Mor Kaeng custard for dessert. Priced at $70 (feeds two to three people), Freebird’s Festive Feast must be preordered by calling 604-730-5675 with a minimum of 24 hours’ advance notice.

New Year’s Eve dine-in reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis by calling Maenam at 604-730-5579; booking well in advance is highly recommended. Takeout can also be preordered by directly phoning the restaurant, and 24 hours’ advance reservation is strongly encouraged. All takeout orders can be picked up at Maenam (1938 West 4th Avenue).

Cibo Trattoria

Cibo Trattoria is taking reservations for December 31. Executive Chef Jesse Zuber as carefully created some of the most exquisite dishes that range from Dungeness crab ravioli, to black tie scallops. You can order them a la carte or try it as a set menu for $110pp +tax and gratuity with a glass of bubbles.

Acquafarina

Acquafarina is taking reservations for December 31 for a 6 course tasting menu. Price for the tasting menu starts at $250 until December 23rd. Taxes, Wine pairings, other beverages and gratuities are not included. Event cost will increase to $275 on December 23rd.
