I first visited Kekuli Café for the first time at their Merritt location a few years ago. It was a pleasure to visit them at their West Kelowna outpost on our trip to the Okanagan.

Kekuli Café is one of the top Indigenous cuisine restaurants in BC.
They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and on the menu you will find Bannock, Pow Wow Tacos, Bannockwiches, and more.

The Bannock, a type of fried flat bread in traditional Indigenous cuisine, comes in flavours like Skor; Maple Glaze; Berry; Lemon Butterhorn to name a few.
For breakfast, they offer items like Scramble Beef on Breakfast Bannock; Wild Salmon Breakfast Bannock and so forth.
Their Pow Wow Frybread Tipi Tacos come in options like Venison; Chicken; Pitahouse Corn & Bean.
The Bannock-wich Melts are available in Grilled Chicken Mushroom & Havarti Cheese Melt; Grilled Venison Mushroom & Havarti Cheese; Venison Back Bacon Cheddar; Wild Smoked Salmon; Vegetarian and more.
Some lighter options include Black Bean, Chick Pea, & Corn Salad and Apple, Feta, Sunflower & Cranberry Salad.

We enjoyed their traditional Bannock as well as Bannock-bites.
Their Venison Frybread Taco was very nourishing; it is prepared with Sage, Blueberry, spices and Saskatoon BBQ Sauce, over a bed of Spiced Rice, Lettuce, handmade Pebre (Salsa), Sour Creme, & Cheddar Cheese, with Frybread.

The Saskatoon Berry Smoothie is also loaded and quite refreshing.

At Kekuli, guests can enjoy a wonderful cup of coffee, fresh Indigineous cuisine, and perfectly prepared bannock in an inviting, home-like atmosphere.

They also offer branded merchandise if you want to take home a keepsake.

If you’re headed to the Okanagan, be sure to stop at Kekuli Café for some delicious eats.
