Nestled in West Vancouver’s Eagle Harbour, and off the beaten path is JJ’s Kitchen – a new restaurant which opened up six month’s ago. JJ’s Kitchen West Vancouver has a French-Italian inspired menu that features pasta, Canadian prime steak entrees, seafood entrees, to casual handhelds and housemade desserts.


Start off with a delicious cocktail from the bar. The West Van Grayhound featuring vodka, fresh grapefruit juice, yuzu, thai basil, and black pepper simple syrup.



Their signature dish is the slow braised Lamb Shank with roasted heirloom carrots, herbal mashed potato and lamb bus. Be prepared for fall-off-the bone, tender and delicious meat. Ask staff for an ideal red wine pairing.

A recommended seafood entrée is the Prawns & Scallops served with roasted garlic mash, seasonal vegetables and citrus beurre blanc. The perfectly seared scallops with bouncy and jumbo prawns would appeal to seafood lovers.

The well-appointed interior exudes a fine dining atmosphere along with a stylish bar.


To get a breathe of the ocean, sit on the heated, covered patio with overhanging string lights. The restaurant has plans to expand into a garden space later on this year.

JJ’s Kitchen West Vancouver makes for a great stop as you travel to and from Horseshoe Bay or Whistler.
