Icons Of Eataly: Street Food Program

Eataly, the global Italian marketplace and retail concept, will kick off the fourth iteration of its Icons of Eataly series this Fall, running from September 20 through October 6. First launched in 2023, the Icons of Eataly series honours the art of Italian living through special event programming and limited-time menus. For this upcoming edition, Eataly will turn its attention to street food – an integral part of food cultures around the world.

Icons Of Eataly: Street Food Program

In Italy, the rich history of “cibo da strada” spans from the North to the South of the country, with a vast array of dishes that represent each of its 20 unique regions. To celebrate this time-honoured tradition, Eataly will launch one of the brand’s most significant and innovative menu updates to date, available at its quick service counters and restaurants across North America. With more than 20 new items, guests can learn the history of lesser-known dishes like Cuzzetiello Napoletano, a recipe from Naples that is made by hollowing out a roll of bread and filling it with rich condiments, or sample Eataly’s take on Italian street food favourites such as arancinizeppole, and bombolone.

To complement the refreshed menus, Eataly will reach beyond the bounds of Italian gastronomy with a program that highlights iconic street food makers beloved by the local community. From New York to Toronto, consumers will have the chance to take exclusive workshops at La Scuola, the Eataly cooking school, or taste bites from across the globe at one-day-only “block party” events in the stores.

Together with friends new and old, Icons of Eataly: Street Food will tell the stories of the cities that Eataly is proud to call home.

Launching on September 20, Eataly will explore the living history of street food in Italy, showcasing the recipes that come from the varied regions of the country. Featuring more than 20 new items, menus can be found at Eataly North American restaurants and quick service counters.
