Vancouver’s (BC Canada) much anticipated annual food and drink festival, Dine Out Vancouver 2024, will be returning. Here’s a look at what you can expect.
Dine Out Vancouver 2024 Dates
The festival will be running from Wednesday, January 17 – Sunday February 4, 2024. That is 17 days of feasting fun! The restaurants will be officially announced on January 9.
How Does Dine Out Vancouver work?
Dine Out Vancouver 2024 is a great opportunity for foodies to show their support and love for local Vancouver restaurants.
The festival promotes local and regional ingredients, the wines of British Columbia, and the city’s exceptional culinary talent.
You can look forward to a tasty lineup of menus (breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch in Vancouver) and gastronomic experiences.
Dine Out Vancouver Festival is about community, collaboration, and sharing Vancouver’s culinary story with the world.
Along other community partners, the festival showcases culinary talent as well as the many different culinary and cultural experiences that only a city like Vancouver can offer.

Bruno 3-Course Lunch: Lean into coastal goodness at midday, with a choice of Bruno Seafood Chowder or Kale Grain Salad to start. Main courses include either a Bruno Bacon Cheeseburger (complete with fries and Calabrian chili aioli), or mouth-watering Saffron Shellfish Tagliatelle or Kabocha Squash Risotto. End the meal with Rustic Tiramisu, dusted with cocoa and topped with chocolate shavings. $39 per person.
Bruno 3-Course Dinner: Gather friends or family to explore all the options on this decadent dinner menu. For starters, select from Kale Grain Salad, Tuna Tartare (topped with trout caviar) and Kurobuta Pork Belly. Second-course mains and accompaniments, served family-style, include a Ribeye steak, Saffron Shellfish (with an option to add house-made tagliatelle), plus sides like Truffle Mashed Potatoes and Lemon Garlic Broccolini. Savour Rustic Tiramisu for dessert. $65 per person.
Cask Whisky Vault
An authentic robata grill turns out Japanese-inspired tastes at Cask. This special menu includes Maguro Tuna Tartare and Truffle Chicken Karaage to start, followed by mains of Beef Short Rib with a decadent potato pave and Shellfish Udon brimming with mussels, clams and prawns. A Sesame Chocolate Mousse Tart with whipped matcha ganache and bergamot gelée brings a sweet close to the meal. $59 per person.
Acre Through the Seasons
Acre Through the Seasons draws from the year-round bounty of its own private farm-greenhouse, Acre Lavande, on Cortes Island, bringing the essence of both land and sea to contemporary plates. Although Acre is not offering a Dine Out Vancouver menu, all patrons will receive 50% off cocktails and select bottles of wine throughout the duration of the festival. The Series 3, Oceans menu is available from Thursday to Sunday, with reservations available from 5 pm to 8:30 pm.
H2 Kitchen + Bar
Don’t be misled by iconic views of Coal Harbour and the North Shore mountains from this open-concept dining room: the setting is West Coast, but this menu is for lovers of Southern-inspired fare. H2 Kitchen + Bar offers a nightly 3-course dinner menu that’s rich with down-home comfort. Start with Chicken Corn Chowder or Kale & Radicchio Salad, followed by a choice of Slow-Smoked Beef Brisket (served with classic smokehouse sides like waffle fries and kale slaw), Cajun Shrimp & Grits made with the finest white-cheddar polenta grits, andouille sausage and pork belly, or vegetarian Mushroom Mac with roasted garlic cashew cream, wild mushrooms and truffle oil. To finish, choose your sweet finale from indulgent Banana Pudding or Sticky Toffee Pudding. $35 per person.
H Tasting Lounge 3-Course Lunch
Treat yourself to an afternoon well spent at H Tasting Lounge for a 3-course menu including contemporary starters like Steamed Pork & Shrimp Sui Mai or Harvest Squash Salad. For mains, a choice of Steak Frites (with char-grilled, grass-fed tenderloin, seashore fries, micro herb salad and peppercorn jus), Seafood ’Nduja Pasta or a Roasted Cauliflower Steak as a hearty vegetarian option. Finally, savour a delectable Calamansi Tart with vanilla crust, vanilla crème brûlée and fresh berries. $40 per person.

Wildlight Kitchen + Bar x Elgin Saigon: World Chef Exchange Dinner (Feb 1)
Wildlight Kitchen + Bar is one of four exclusive participants in the exciting World Chef Exchange series in 2024’s Dine Out Vancouver Festival, with a collaboration dinner between Wildlight and Ho Chi Minh City’s Elgin Saigon. The dinner takes place on Thursday February 1, 2024, beginning with a reception at 6:00p.m. Ticket price for the dinner is $256pp including tax and gratuity, which gets you access to the half hour reception with bubbles and pass-around snacks, a six-course seated collaborative culinary journey, as well as wine and beverage pairings.
