Christmas Charleston 2023: Dinner, Turkey to Go, Restaurants
This list is not exhaustive and is updated as information becomes available. I try to feature as much as I can but certainly this is not all that is out there. If your favorite restaurant is not on the list, contact them to see what they are offering.
Church and Union – Charleston
Church and Union – Charleston is offering a Christmas Eve and Christmas Day buffet will be $75 per person and $35 for children 12 and under.
82 Queen
82 Queen will be open normal hours, seating from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. for brunch and 5:00-9:30 p.m. for dinner, on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day. Throughout the month, guests can expect a true festive dining experience with holiday decorations displayed in every room, food specials inspired by the season and cozy cocktails like their Barrel-Aged Manhattan. The restaurant will also be open to ring in the new year, operating under normal hours on New Year’s Eve (10 a.m.-2 p.m. for brunch and 5:00-9:30 p.m. for dinner). Tempest
Tempest is offering a Christmas Eve 3-course menu in addition to their regular a la carte menu. The optional 3-course menu will be $70 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
Camellias
Sip, savor and sparkle this holiday season with an afternoon tea experience at Camellias. Their Holiday Tea service is a blend of tradition and whimsy that will leave you feeling merry and bright with seasonal tea blends, holiday-themed treats and Champagne for our grown-up guests. Gather with loved ones, and embrace the holiday spirit with flair with this spectacular afternoon tea affair. $75 adults | $45 children under 12 Thursday & Friday | 11:30 am – 1:30 pm and 2 pm – 4 pm.
They are also offering whimsical Tea with Santa that will transport you and your loved ones to a world of magic and wonder with an array of delectable, holiday-inspired treats and a visit from Santa Claus himself. Sip on a selection of whimsical teas with Champagne available for our grown-up guests, plus, receive a keepsake to commemorate the special day. $78 adults | $58 children under 12 Saturday | 11:30 am – 1:30 pm & 2 pm – 4 pm Sunday | 11:30 am – 1:30 pm, 2 pm – 4 pm, 4:30 – 6 pm.
Handcraft Kitchen & Cocktails Mount Pleasant
Handcraft Kitchen & Cocktails Mount Pleasant is offering breakfast with Santa on December 2 and 3.
Thoroughbred Club
Grab your little ones and don your holiday finery for a Nutcracker-themed Afternoon Tea at Thoroughbred Club. A selection of sweet and savory treats like Candy Cane Macarons and Nutcracker Cookies for both kids (ages 12 and under) and adults will be served. While dining, guests can enjoy a short ballet performance of the Nutcracker from the Dance Conservatory of Charleston. Adults may add on Champagne or Caviar service to their reservation for an additional fee.
