A new shop dedicated to Mille Crepe cakes in Vancouver has opened up in the Dunbar neighbourhood.
Cake Bae is a new dessert shop dedicated to Mille crêpes cakes.
The flavour selection rotates but includes vanilla, lemon cheesecake, matcha, durian and more.
Cakes by the slice are available on a first come first serve basis. Quarter or whole cakes can be preordered ahead of time.
They also have a few housemade cookies in flavours like Valrhona Brown Butter and Nutella.
Pair your treat with a cup of coffee from Agro Roasters. The barista there does expert latte art!
Cake Bae is owned and operated by Lizzy, who attended and graduated from the Pastry program at VCC.
I loved the Mille Crêpes cakes by Cake Bae featuring 20 alternating layers of paper-thin crêpes and pastry cream.
