Fellow foodies, we have a new bakery in town! BjornBar Bakery is set to open this Thursday, April 7th in North Vancouver’s Edgemont Village. This new bakery and bistro specializes in classic dessert bars but also serves lunch items including soups and salads, quiche, sausage rolls, tarts and homemade flatbread pizzas.

BjornBar Bakery is owned by Chef Tamera Clark who is originally from North Vancouver and trained at Vancouver’s Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts. Her culinary career has taken her to various parts of the world including Australia, Europe and the Caribbean. The bakery is named after Tamera’s brother Gavin ‘Bjorn’ Clark who lives in Edgemont Village with his family.

You’ll be excited to know that BjornBar Bakery has an impressive 30+ flavours of bars. Their signature bar is the BjornBar made with dark, milk and white chocolate, smooth hazelnut cream and crunchy wafers. Other varieties include the BrûléeBar, BreakfastBar and Breakupbar. Hint: the latter contains alcohol and chocolate.

The perfect pairing for these dessert bars is a good cup of coffee. The full coffee bar serves Illy coffee. Be sure to enjoy your treats on their gorgeous rooftop patio with stunning views of the North Shore Mountains.
