Christmas North Virginia 2023: Dinner, Turkey to Go, Restaurants
This list is not exhaustive and is updated as information becomes available. I try to feature as much as I can but certainly this is not all that is out there. If your favorite restaurant is not on the list, contact them to see what they are offering.
BARCA Pier & Wine Bar
BARCA Pier (Alexandria) is inviting guests to enjoy two festive specials and the signature a la carte menu on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Featured specials include Lamb Chops, and Pan con Persimmons y Jamón – salted persimmons and jamón Iberico. BARCA Pier will open on Christmas Eve from 12:30pm-11pm; and 11.30am-9pm on Christmas Day.
Palette 22
Palette 22 (Arlington) invites guests to savor a Bottomless Christmas Day Brunch, served from 11:30am-3pm. Later in the day, enjoy Palette 22’s a la carte dinner from 3pm-9pm, featuring an array of culinary delights to make your Christmas celebration memorable. On Christmas Eve, Palette 22 opens its doors early, starting at 9am and extending the joy until midnight.
Theismann’s Restaurant and Bar
Celebrate the joy of Christmas with a feast at Theismann’s Restaurant (Alexandria). Indulge in a sumptuous Christmas Day Buffet, available from 11:30am-10pm. The buffet features a Carving Station, a bountiful Salad Table, a tempting Bread and Dessert Table, and a sizzling Hot Table. Priced at $59 per person and $19 for kids, this festive buffet promises a delectable spread to satisfy every palate. Theismann’s will open from 11am-11pm on Christmas Eve and offer its signature a la carte menu.
The Majestic
Celebrate the magic of Christmas at The Majestic (Alexandria), where holiday indulgence meets culinary excellence. On Christmas Eve, The Majestic will offer special additions to the enticing à la carte menu, available from 11am to 11pm. On Christmas Day, the restaurant will offer a four-course prix fixe menu featuring dishes such as Herb Roasted Turkey Breast, Slow Roasted Leg of Lamb, and Apple Pie. A Christmas Day Bar Menu will also be available. Priced at $79 per person and $29 for kids, the Christmas Day prix-fixe is available from 11:30am-9pm.
Mia’s Italian Kitchen
This Christmas, gather your loved ones and savor the flavors of the season at Mia’s Italian Kitchen (Alexandria) with a special three-course prix fixe menu, priced at $49 per person. The menu will be available on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The a la carte menu will also be available, offering a range of Italian classics and specialties. On Christmas Eve, join Mia’s from 10am-11pm, and on Christmas Day from 11:30am to 10pm.
Vola’s Dockside Grill
Spend Christmas at Vola’s Dockside Grill (Alexandria) as they invite guests to delight in a special three-course prix fixe menu, available for $49 per person, or opt for a more personalized experience with their a la carte offerings. Dishes include Beef Wellington and Chilean Seabass, among others. On Christmas Eve, Vola’s will open from 10am-11pm, ensuring a seamless and joyful transition into the holiday spirit. On Christmas Day, Vola’s will open from 11:30am -10pm, providing ample time for friends and family to come together and enjoy a delicious holiday meal with waterfront views.
Ada’s On The River
Ada’s on the River (Alexandria) will offer a three-course prix fixe in addition to the a la carte menu on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Highlights include Wood Fired Prime Rib and a Chocolate Hazelnut Cheesecake. Priced at $79pp/$29 kids, the restaurant will open from 10am – 11pm on Sunday, December 24th; from 11.30am-10pm on Christmas Day, Monday, December 25th.
