Here’s a look at some cherry blossom-inspired menu items by restaurants in Vancouver.
Mèreon
Mèreon is embracing the Cherry Blossom season with a new cocktail feature, La Vie En Rose. Crafted with gin, reship hibiscus tea, grenadine, rose water, simple syrup, maraschino and lemon and topped with Prosecco. It is available now until April 25th for $14.

Jungle Room
Jungle Room has created exclusive dishes to accompany the season in bloom.

The Dockside
The team at Dockside is celebrating Cherry Blossom with special dessert and cocktail features:
- Cherry Blossom Dessert (chocolate entremets cake, chocolate praline, dark chocolate mousse, beetroot crumble, cotton candy cherry blossom tree with assorted berries)
- Sakura Sour (Roku Gin, plum wine, cinnamon cordial, lemon juice and egg white)
These two features will be available from March 30th to April 25th.

Yuwa Japanese Cuisine
Yuwa is offering the Sakura Mushi – Domyoji sticky rice, Sakuradai snapper, Sakura-Ebi, rice cracker bits, Sakura leaf, salt-cured sakura blossom, Gin-an thickened dashi.

Smitty’s Oyster House on Main St
Smitty’s has created a cocktail feature: Cherry Springer Sour (vodka; marachino syrup; fresh lemon and lime juice; simple syrup). The cocktail is $15 and is available for the month of April.

Anh and Chi
Anh and Chi is offering a themed cocktail – “hoa anh đào” (in Vietnamese), created by the talented Bar Manager, Chelsea McNabb.

The Sandbar
Sushi Master Hoshi at The Sandbar is offering a special Sakura Roll (avocado, fresh crab, scallop, tobiko, and sockeye sashimi) for $24.50 and a Sake Sangria (orange juice, sake, plum wine and Triple Sec) for $14.50. These two special features will be available from March 25th to April 25th.

The Victor
The Victor is welcoming the Cherry Blossom Festival with a special menu that’s available daily from March 29th to April 25th.


Five Sails
Five Sails restaurant is evoking the essence of Sakura season on plate and palate by adding a new Cherry Blossom Afternoon Tea Service on weekends. Available Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 2:30 p.m. exclusively through Sunday, April 21, the latest addition to the menu is curated by Pastry Chef Daria Andriienko and showcases a number of savoury, Asian-inspired selections such as ‘Onigiri’ Smoked Salmon, ‘Chawanmushi’ Custard and an ‘Umeboshi’ Chicken Salad Tart as well as a variety of sweet and colourful cakes, scones and tarts for $75 per guest plus tax and gratuity. The Five Sails Cherry Blossom Afternoon Tea menu also allows guests to enhance their experience by adding a half dozen oysters with freshly grated horseradish, mignonette and cocktail sauce or gourmet caviar selections from renowned supplier Kaviari served with traditional accoutrements including chives, crème fraîche and egg mimosa.
