Tractor Everyday Healthy Foods has launched their signature Tractor At Home subscription service so that customers can enjoy chef-prepared meals, fresh local produce and healthy snacks delivered to their door.
Available to residents in Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby and the North Shore, Tractor At Home’s weekly subscription boxes contain a curated assortment of nutritious entrées, soups and stews, healthy proteins, signature Tractor salads and sides, farm-fresh greens and vegetables, baked goods and more.
Cold-packed weekly subscription boxes are available with no order minimum, delivery fee, tax or tip.
The curated boxes are designed to eliminate meal planning with a suggested rotating menu, including categories such as mains and proteins, sides, soups and stews, fresh produce and pantry items.
You can choose a plan for 2 meals, 6 meals or 10 meals with full flexibility and you can easily delete items from your box and add items from the store.
Customers can pause or cancel their subscription at any time, stress free.
The Tractor At Home menu will also feature an inventory of everyday grocery staples and individual items available for purchase a-la-carte, in the online store.
Customers can supplement their subscription box or stock up their pantry at home with delicious specialty goods like mason jar salads, packaged and marinated proteins, local produce, fresh baking, and made-from-scratch spreads, hot sauces, salad dressings, and mixed nuts.
My Tractor at Home box ranged from familiar favourites and new items for me to try:
Lasagna Bolognese: lean ground beef, mild pork sausage, onion, carrot, celery, olive oil, garlic, tomato, vegetable stock, whole milk, spices, salt, ricotta, pecarino romano, egg, pepper, lemon, parsley, provolone.
Apple Fennel Salad: mixed organic greens, Granny Smith apples, sliced fennel, toasted walnuts, champagne vinaigrette (champagne vinegar, grapeseed oil, onion, agave, grainy Dijon, parsley, salt, pepper)
Cajun Chicken Breasts: local chicken breasts, corn flour, brown sugar, salt, cajun spices, garlic butter
Quinoa Cauliflower Pilaf: red & white quinoa, cauliflower, toasted almonds, olive oil, spices, parsley, salt, pepper
Moroccan Chicken Stew: onions, carrots, chickpeas, tomatoes, dried apricots, bulgar wheat, salt, spices, garlic
Tractor Hot Sauce: sambal oelek, oil, salt, agave, white vinegar
All the items were nicely packaged or vacuum sealed. No cooking was needed: the chicken was precooked and you would just reheat to eat.
Disclosure: Tractor Foods sent me a complimentary box to review.
