The Tim Hortons NHL Hockey Challenge 2021 – 2022 is back to celebrate the 2021-22 NHL season kicking off.

With new grand prizes available to win this year, new Mini Challenges, and a live Leaderboard to follow along with your friends, it’s bound to be the best season yet.

The Tim Hortons NHL Hockey Challenge – 2021/2022 starts October 12, 2021 and ends on November 10, 2021.

How to Play Tim Hortons NHL Hockey Challenge 2021 – 2022

Using the Tim Hortons mobile app, Tims Rewards members can access the Tim Hortons NHL Hockey Challenge 2021 – 2022 to select three NHL players who they believe will score a goal each game day.

For each correct pick that is made, you will receive Tims Rewards points or offers.

If you don’t know who to pick, the app can help you select players randomly for that game day.

You can choose your picks once per day NHL game day. Once you have chosen your picks, they are locked in and cannot be changed. 

New to the game this year are Mini Challenges, with six of these challenges throughout the season and an additional challenge during the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The top five players with the most points at the end of each Mini Challenge will win a grand prize from one of the participating partners.

Tims Rewards members will be able to track their progress on the game’s new Leaderboard, visible to each Tim Hortons NHL Hockey Challenge player.

Here’s the breakdown of how Tims Rewards points are awarded in this year’s Tim Hortons NHL Hockey Challenge 2021 – 2022:

• 5 Tims Rewards points or offers for one correct pick on a game day
• 10 Tims Rewards points for two correct picks on a game day
• 50 Tims Rewards points for three correct picks on a game day

Tims Rewards Points are redeemable through the app at at participating restaurants in Canada.

7-Day Hot Streak Prizes

If you correctly predict at least one player to score a goal for seven consecutive game days, you will win free coffee or tea for a week.

Grand Prize

The following 5 grand prizes are available in connection with the number of leaderboard point(s) obtained by participants:

1st place grand prize, consisting of an Xbox Series S, EA SPORTS™ NHL® 22 X-Factor Edition for Xbox Series X|S, a 12 months GPU Subscription, a signed Auston Matthews jersey, and a $100 CAD Tim Card® (ARV $1,515 CAD)

2nd place grand prize, consisting of an Xbox Series S, EA SPORTS™ NHL® 22 X-Factor Edition for Xbox Series X|S, a 12 months GPU Subscription, and a signed Auston Matthews jersey (ARV $1,415 CAD)

3rd place grand prize, consisting of an Xbox Series S, EA SPORTS™ NHL® 22 X-Factor Edition for Xbox Series X|S and a 12 months GPU Subscription (ARV $714 CAD)

Do you need to make a purchase to play the game?

No, you do not need to purchase anything to play the game but you must be a Tims Rewards member to play on the Tim Hortons app.
