Tim Hortons Collect to Win Hockey 2022 starts 12:00:00 a.m. ET on October 3, 2022 and ends on November 14, 2022 at 11:59:59 p.m.

There are two categories of Prize Card Types: Specialty Prize Cards and Golden Prize Cards.

Specialty card prizes do not have a corresponding approximate retail value (ARV).

Tim Hortons Hockey Cards 2022-23 Price

Tim Hortons Hockey Cards 2022-23 can be purchased by either visiting a participating Tim Hortons location in Canada or using his/her Tims Rewards account on the App.

Tim Hortons Hockey Cards 2022-23 are priced

  • at $1.99 CAD (excluding applicable taxes) without the purchase of a beverage OR
  • a discount from $1.99 CAD (excluding applicable taxes) with the purchase of any beverage

Card packs are not eligible for delivery or third-party delivery/pick up services.

Claim Deadline

Coffee or tea golden card prizes, donut golden card prizes and all other Collect To Win prize cards must be claimed by February 28, 2023. 

Specialty prize cards must be claimed by September 30, 2023.

Hockey Card Trade Nights

On November 2nd and 9th from 6pm – 9pm, you’re invited to Hockey Card Trade Nights! Come and celebrate the hockey season, trade your cards with fellow collectors and have a chance to win prizes,

What are Hockey Card Trade Nights?

Hockey Card Trade Nights is a unique program designed to connect the community over their shared love of hockey and to help collectors complete their hockey card sets.

Tim Hortons Hockey Cards 2022-23

Hockey Card collectors come together to celebrate the upcoming hockey season, talk hockey, and trade cards with one another.

During Trade Nights, Tim Hortons Restaurant Owners typically run fun trivia games where winners have a chance to win prizes like an autographed and framed Sidney Crosby picture.

When will there be a Hockey Card Trade Night?

Select restaurants will be hosting Trade Nights on Wednesday November 2nd and Wednesday November 9th from 6pm to 8pm.

At contest start, a minimum of 18,880,000 card packs will be made available (the number available will decrease as they are claimed).

Each trading card that is not a prize card in a card pack will be one of the following trading cards:

  • Base Card Red Variant (odds 1:4)
  • Hockey Triumphs (odds 1:5)
  • Superstar Showcase (odds 1:6)
  • Gold Etchings (odds 1:8)
  • Spectrum Standouts (odds 1:9)
  • InMotion Phenoms (odds 1:12)
  • Flow of Time (odds 1:24)

Trading cards are not a prize card and are not eligible to be redeemed for a prize.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there digital cards this year to open in the app?

No, Collect to Win has been fully transitioned to in pack prizing only. Same number of prizes, but there are no longer digital cards, ballots or random draws. You will instantly know if you have won a prize by unwrapping your physical hockey card pack and finding a golden Collect to Win prize card.

Are there instant win prizes like free hot beverages this year?

Yes. If you find a golden Coffee/Tea Prize card or Donut Prize card, you can instantly redeem it at restaurant by asking the Team Member scan the QR code on the card. 

Can I order cards and binders through the mobile app for pick-up and/or delivery?

Yes. You can purchase hockey cards in the Tim Hortons app while supplies last. Cards are not available for delivery. You cannot order binders through the mobile app.

Why is there no pin code in my pack?

C2W no longer features PIN codes. To play the game, all you need to do is open your pack of cards. If you find a Golden Collect to Win card, you have a chance to win a prize.

There weren’t 3 cards in my pack, how can I address this?

I didn’t get any special cards, why?

Hockey Cards are randomly inserted into each pack according to specific odds found in the rules and regulations.

Why is my local Tims not participating?

All Tim Hortons Restaurants participate in the hockey card program and offer them for purchase while supplies last.

Can I return unopened cards or cases of cards?

The purchase of hockey cards are final sale. There are no refunds or exchanges.

Where can I get a binder?

Binders can be purchased from participating Tim Hortons restaurants while supplies last.

My binder is damaged/broken, can I exchange it?

I was given last year’s binder, how can I exchange it?

Please reach out to your local Tim Hortons Restaurant where you purchased the binder.

How many pages should the binder have? How many cards can it hold?

Binders have 15 pages holding 18 cards per page. A total of 270 hockey cards (the entire set) fits in the binder.

@Lisa, I opened a pack and got four base cards and one gold etchings. The coffee and tea prize was a big let down.
