I’ve been visiting the Pan Pacific Vancouver for buffet dining since the Café Pacifica days nearly a decade ago. Over the years, it has become a familiar and reliable spot for a luxurious buffet in Vancouver, and I recently returned for the Sunday Brunch Buffet at Oceans 999.

Offered weekly on Sunday from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, the buffet includes a wonderful variety of seafood, carvery, dim sum, and a broad selection of hot and cold dishes. The dining room looks out over the harbour, and live piano plays throughout service.
Here’s a look at the menu:

The menu rotates slightly but includes staples like smoked steelhead, jumbo prawns with cocktail sauce, and charcuterie. There’s also a carving station with roast of the week (we had Roast Lamb) and seafood Wellington of the week (we had Salmon), alongside an Chef-led made-to-order omelette bar. The dim sum section includes har gow, siu mai, spring rolls, and stir fry.

You’ll also find a fruit and cheese spread, fresh pastries, a variety of salads, and rotating hot mains like eggs Benedict, roasted potatoes, and more. Finish off with Chef Hansel’s house-made sweets.

My favourites were the Roast Lamb, Salmon Wellington, and omelette bar as I always enjoy the Chef’s touch at these action stations.
The room looks out over the harbour, and live piano plays throughout service. Adults are $68, seniors and teens $64, children 6–12 are $32, and kids 5 and under eat free.
Oceans 999 is located inside Pan Pacific Vancouver at 999 Canada Place.
