Starbucks Earth Month Game 2021 is now on until April 30. Here’s a look at how to play the game, what organization this game supports and the prizes you can win.

What is Starbucks Earth Month Game 2021 about?

The new Starbucks Earth Month Game 2021 gives Starbucks Rewards members a chance to win more than 140,000 prizes, support the World Wildlife Fund Canada (WWF-Canada), as well as learn more about the Starbucks Planet Positive commitment to become a resource positive company.

How to play Starbucks Earth Month Game

Starbucks Earth Month Game is a combination of an instant win game called “Choice & Chance” and a puzzle game called “Play & Plant.”

Starbucks Rewards members can earn plays on eligible transactions at participating Starbucks stores.

Members must pay using a Starbucks Card or linked payment method, or by scanning the Starbucks app prior to checkout to earn a play. (Limit two plays per day).

Throughout the game, players will receive tips and prompts on choices in their everyday lives and earn additional “plays” for each by participating in weekly activities – from trying meatless breakfast choices, to voting for their favourite non-dairy beverage or reading articles about combatting food waste.

No purchase is necessary.

Game 1: Choice & Chance

In the “Choice & Chance” portion of the game, players can select an item for a chance to win prizes ranging from coupons for free non-dairy beverages for a year to money off select food items and merchandise.

There will also be the chance to enter a sweepstakes to win grand prizes such as an electric bike prize package from Rad Power Bikes. 

Game 2: Play & Plant

As part of the puzzle game, Starbucks is making a $25,000 prize donation to WWF-Canada to plant wildflowers and native plants that help build habitats for wildlife in the Southern Ontario-Quebec corridor.

To play the game, you will be served three (3) random shapes that you must drag and drop onto the game board.

When you complete any 1×9 line or 3×3 sub-square, you will score points and the applicable line or sub-square will disappear.

You can continue playing the game until there is no space left to place the served shapes.

There are “boosters” within the game. A booster is an object that triggers a special rule or ability. The boosters are: “shrink,” “rotate,” and “save.”

There are 7 sweepstakes prizes (approximate retail values from $1,543 to $2,697) and  149,950 instant win prizes (approximate retail values from $0.52 to $20.80) .

Winner’s choice of an in-stock electric bike Rad Power Bikes, cup holder and additional in-stock accessory.

5 Free Non-Dairy Drinks for a Year.

The winner will receive a daily credit to his/her Account for 1 year for 1 free standard menu-sized handcrafted beverage that can be customized with nondairy add-in.

Credits are redeemable at participating Starbucks stores in Canada. Ready-to-drink, bottled, and alcoholic beverages are excluded. Beverage credits expire daily and are non-transferable. The 1 year period begins on or around June 15, 2021 and ends June 14, 2022. At any time during the 1-year period, Sponsor may pay the remaining credit balance to the winner as a cash payment, to be reasonably determined by Sponsor, in satisfaction of the prize award.
