Recently opened, YAO, located in the Financial District, has created a Mother’s Day menu of Cantonese specialties for Moms who appreciate experiencing various ethnic cuisines. YAO, by ExecutiveChef-Owner Kenny Leung and Co-Owner Thomas Tang of the acclaimed August Gatherings, has crafted a four-course Mother’s Day brunch tasting menu at an approachable price of $68 per person, On Saturday, 5/11 and Sunday (5/12), YAO will serve its specially curated brunch tasting menu from 11:30 a.m.- 3 p.m. as well as its a la carte menu all day.
Hortus NYC

Sabai Thai
This Mother’s Day, keep Mom happy, or “sabai”, at Sabai Thai, the Central-Thai-Inspired restaurant on the bustling Park Avenue South. These dishes utilize ancient grains and artisanal milling techniques, making for high nutritional value and easier digestibility. Highlights of the Brunch menu include, but are not limited to:

Park Ave Kitchen by David Burke
All that said, for its first Mother’s Day observance Park Ave Kitchen by David Burke has created a very expansive a la carte brunch designed to appeal to virtually every mother’s culinary preferences and appetite.
For evening Mother’s Day celebrating Park Ave Kitchen by David Burke’s regular menu will be in play further enhanced by festive specials, as will the restaurant’s $75 three-course pre-theater menu available until 7 p.m.
David Burke Tavern
David Burke Tavern is offering a Mother’s Day Dinner prix fixe, on which a number of Burke signatures appear, including DB Roasted Chicken, toasted faro, wild mushrooms, kale, chicken jus, Pork Chop, manilla clams, shrimp, bacon, peas, red peppers, lemon butter, and steaks dry aged according to his US patented Himalayan pink salt dry aging. Served from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. a $90 per person.
For Mother’s Day brunch an dinner, a two-course $30 entrée and dessert version is available for kids, aged 10 and under, with child approved dishes such as Tug Boat French Toast (think Titanic, but smaller) and House Made Cavatelli, butter or marinara sauce, Parmesan cheese.
