Destination Silver Star has announced their summer 2025 plans, including a new campground, expanded outdoor recreation, and a full schedule of events set in the Monashee Mountains of British Columbia.

Opening for stays from June 14 to September 15, the new summer campground offers mountain views, full-service amenities, and advance booking for both tents and large RVs. Guests will have access to showers, indoor washrooms, and receive 10% off services at Elevate Spa.
The SilverStar Mountain Resort bike park, Canada’s second-largest, returns with over 139 kilometres of trails, including 69 kilometres of lift-accessed downhill terrain. The popular Beowulf trail and the two-ride Enduro Pass provide options for both dedicated riders and casual visitors. Tickets start at $65 CAD.
In August, Silver Star welcomes back the Crankworx Summer Series, which this year includes a Freeride Mountain Bike Gold-Level Women’s Slopestyle event.
The Summer Music Series will bring live performances to the alpine village every weekend. Visitors can relax post-ride or hike while enjoying live music in a casual outdoor setting.
On September 6, the Silver Star Craft Beer & Cider Festival returns with tickets from $49 CAD, featuring local brewers and cider makers at a unique mountaintop tasting event.
Scenic gondola rides and alpine hikes remain a draw for visitors looking for slower-paced experiences, with panoramic views and wildflower meadows accessible throughout the season.
Reaching Silver Star is now easier with Porter Air offering direct Toronto–Kelowna flights from May 14 and Flair Airlines adding a nonstop Calgary–Kelowna route beginning June 30.
