MARKET by Jean-Georges will close its doors on January 1, 2020 to prepare for the creation and launch of a new restaurant from the Shangri-La Hotel, Vancouver team in April 2020.
The new culinary destination will retain all of the existing culinary talent, including Executive Chef, Ken Nakano and Chef de Cuisine, Alex Kim, as well as the stellar front of house team.
While maintaining the culinary and service excellence diners love at MARKET by Jean-Georges, the new restaurant will serve a new dining and cocktail menu and will add an afternoon tea service.
The cuisine will continue to celebrate local flavours with seasonal farm-to-table ingredients sourced from the local community.
The new restaurant design will feature a multitude of dining options including a bar, lounge and several private dining rooms.
