Canada’s Capital Region will welcome locals and visitors alike for a full slate of Canada Day 2025 programming on July 1, featuring live performances, official ceremonies, family activities, and the return of the Tim Hortons Canada Day Fireworks.

Events begin at 9 a.m. and continue through 10:15 p.m. at LeBreton Flats Park, the main hub for festivities across Ottawa and Gatineau.

National Noon Ceremony
The day’s official kickoff, the National Noon Ceremony, will feature performances by Amanda Marshall, Garou, Thompson Egbo-Egbo, Rafaëlle Roy, and Alli Walker. Hosted by Sonia Benezra, the ceremony includes an appearance by Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, who will deliver remarks and preside over a special Order of Canada investiture.
The ceremony will honour five Canadians: Heather Rankin, Ryan Reynolds, Deantha Rae Edmunds, Scott Oake, and Kim Thúy Ly Thanh.
National Evening Show
The Canada Day National Evening Show will broadcast live from Ottawa and feature satellite performances from Summerside, Yellowknife, and Vancouver. The confirmed lineup includes:
Sarah McLachlan, Cœur de pirate, Josh Ross, Tom Cochrane, Mitsou, Amanda Marshall, Roch Voisine, Randy Bachman, Édith Butler, TALK, Dumas & Ivan Boivin-Flamand, Fredz, Aasiva, Muzion, Billie du Page, Morgan Grace with dancers led by Alex Francoeur, Les Sœurs Bégin, and Enola Bedard.
The evening show will be hosted by Isabelle Racicot and broadcast nationally on CBC, ICI TÉLÉ, CBC Gem, and other affiliated platforms.
