It was a pleasure to revisit Myst Asian Fusion last week. for a media tasting. Myst (6400 Kingsway) is a Burnaby neighbourhood favourite and is a modern, Taiwanese restaurant serving Asian fusion cuisine. The contemporary decor inside features a mix of booth seating and dining tables. They are open for breakfast until late night.
We tried their new dishes as well as a few of their classics:

- Hakka style pork knuckles
- Black pepper beef short rib
- Shanghai style smoking duck
- Taiwanese sausage original flavour
- Kaolian flavour Taiwanese sausage
- Fuzhou fish balls soup
- Deep fried milkfish fillet
- Signature Buddha temptation
- Crispy pork knuckle with salt and pepper
- Original thin beef noodle soup
- Pork blood rice cake
- Scallop diced plain on fried rice
- Golden fried rice with arctic scallops and prawns with pork floss and pine nuts
- Melon liqueur vodka
- Rum and coke
- Baileys liqueur milk
- Whisky ice tea
- Winter melon lemon juice with chia seed and aiyu jelly

My top picks are the black pepper beef short rib; golden fried rice with arctic scallops and prawns with pork floss and pine nuts; Fuzhou fish balls soup; and Taiwanese sausage original flavour.
