Mother’s Day in San Diego brings a range of dining specials for those planning to celebrate with a meal out. Restaurants across the city are offering seasonal menus featuring fresh ingredients, thoughtful mains, and desserts to finish. From laid-back brunches to more polished dinner options, here’s a look at what’s on the table this year.

Bronze Bird in San Diego is offering a breakfast buffet and à la carte menu for Mother’s Day. The buffet includes eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, yogurt, and toast. Featured à la carte items include the Bronze Birdito, a breakfast burrito with eggs, chorizo, cheddar, potatoes, avocado, jalapeño crema slaw, and salsa verde; GOAT toast with whipped goat cheese and apricot on sourdough; and Almond Crusted French Toast with maple syrup and Chantilly cream. Wormwood in San Diego is offering a six-course prix-fixe dinner menu from May 9 to 11. The $120 per person menu includes a choice of entrée and five pre-set dishes. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated.
Mediterranean Room – La Valencia Hotel in San Diego is offering a Mother’s Day three-course brunch for $140 per adult and $55 per child. Dishes include Zucchini Fritters, Salmon Souvlaki, and Baklava. Brunch runs from 10 AM to 3 PM on May 11.
Puesto La Jolla in San Diego is giving moms a complimentary Toasted Hazelnut Tres Leches Cake with their meal on May 11.
Piatti – La Jolla in San Diego is serving brunch from 10 AM to 1 PM on May 11. All mothers dining during those hours will receive flowers.
The Shores Restaurant in San Diego is serving a brunch buffet on May 11 from 10 AM to 4 PM. Pricing is $89 per adult and $45 per child under 12. Bottomless mimosas are available for $23.
Solare in San Diego is offering its full menu along with new Italian dishes by Chef Denice Grande. Indoor and heated patio seating is available. A kids’ menu is offered.
Coasterra in San Diego is serving a Champagne buffet brunch for $99.95 per adult and $24.95 per child under 12. The buffet includes a seafood station, made-to-order breakfast items, and a carving station. Seating is on the Harbor Float.
Herb & Wood in San Diego is serving a three-course brunch for $74.88 per person. A kids’ menu is available for $30 for children 10 and under.
Juniper & Ivy in San Diego is offering a three-course brunch for $103.70 per person. The menu features seasonal ingredients from local farms and fisheries, with optional add-ons such as caviar and wine pairings.
The Amalfi Llama in San Diego is serving a three-course prix-fixe brunch for $95 per person. Guests can choose from dishes like Short Rib Empanada, Scottish Salmon, Center Cut Filet, and Fire-Roasted Cheesecake. Brunch items are available until 3 PM.
