Mother’s Day in Boston offers a variety of dining specials for those planning to celebrate with a meal out. Restaurants across the city are preparing seasonal menus featuring fresh ingredients, thoughtful mains, and desserts to finish. From relaxed brunches to more polished dinner options, here’s a look at what’s being served this year.

Mother’s Day Dining in & Around Boston
Abe & Louie’s in Boston is offering their full menu with specials from May 9–11. Starters include chilled English pea and ramp soup with morel mushrooms, brioche and mint ($18), and Maryland soft shell crab with sugar snap pea slaw and malt vinegar aioli ($28). Entrées feature a 6oz filet paired with a Maine lobster tail, confit fingerling potatoes and bordelaise ($90), or roasted branzino with morel mushrooms, ramps and white miso emulsion ($60), with an option to add a sautéed spring vegetable medley ($22). Dessert is tiramisu with mascarpone, espresso and cocoa powder ($15).
Atlantic Fish Co. in Boston will serve their regular menu with specials from May 9–11. Appetizers include fritto misto with shrimp, calamari, oysters, fennel, zucchini and ramp aioli ($26), and tuna carpaccio with spring onion, sundried peppers and Meyer lemon ($22). Main courses are rainbow trout with baby beets, pea purée, spring herbs and lemon ($40), and pan-seared cod with chorizo, paella-style risotto and red pepper nage ($36). For dessert, there is Meyer lemon panna cotta with wild blueberry compote and pistachio tuile ($16).
Coach Grill in Wayland is offering à la carte specials from May 9–11. Starters include crispy softshell crab with asparagus, vinaigrette and remoulade ($25), and shaved asparagus salad with cucumber, red onion, spring radish, feta and lemon-dill vinaigrette ($16). Entrées feature a 6oz filet mignon with crab-stuffed shrimp and asparagus ($75), or a 1.25lb stuffed lobster with Ritz cracker and herb stuffing, corn succotash and beurre blanc ($95). Desserts include mascarpone cheesecake with macerated strawberries ($13) and lemon tart with blueberries and vanilla Chantilly cream ($13).
Joe’s on Newbury in Boston will serve specials alongside its full menu from May 9–11. Appetizers include shaved asparagus salad with cucumber, red onion, spring radish, feta and lemon-dill vinaigrette ($16) and bacon-wrapped scallops with grain mustard glaze ($22). Main courses are truffle mushroom bucatini with shiitake and oyster mushrooms ($28) with an option to add shrimp ($12), or an 8oz blue-cheese crusted filet mignon with roasted potatoes, onions and asparagus ($64). Dessert offerings are a truffle mousse cake with chocolate ganache and whipped cream ($12), and a lemon tart with blueberries and whipped cream ($12).
Joe’s Waterfront in Boston will feature a selection of specials from May 9–11. Starters include asparagus and spinach salad with crispy bacon, goat cheese and citrus vinaigrette ($14) and corn and crab chowder with potatoes and bell pepper ($16). Entrées feature an 8oz blue-cheese crusted filet mignon with roasted potatoes, onions and asparagus ($64), or lobster and spring pea risotto with asparagus tips and parmesan ($38). Desserts are truffle mousse cake with chocolate ganache and whipped cream ($12) or red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting and chocolate shavings ($11).
34 Park in Andover is offering a Mother’s Day brunch with menu highlights like Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb, Roasted Cod with Ritz crumbs, and desserts including a Warm Brownie Sundae and Berries & Cream. Reservations available on May 11.
BOSA Coastal Italian in Haverhill is serving all-day brunch and dinner on May 11, with specials like Eggs Benedict, Chilean Seabass, and Blueberry Bomboloni. A kids menu is available.
Contessa Boston at The Newbury is serving a $105 prix-fixe menu on May 11 featuring Bakery Basket, Veal Milanese, and Nutella Fudge Cake with service from breakfast to dinner.
Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse is offering its classic dinner menu alongside Mother’s Day brunch features on May 11 across all Massachusetts locations. Brunch dishes include Tiramisu French Toast, Lobster Benedict, and Beef Tenderloin Benedict.
Matria Boston at InterContinental Boston is serving a $145 per adult and $75 per child Mother’s Day brunch with live-action stations featuring charcuterie, carving stations, raw bar, and desserts like Lemon Blueberry Cake and Strawberry Cheesecake Cones.
Porto Boston in Back Bay is hosting brunch on May 11 from 11 AM–3 PM. Specials include Baklava Coffee Cake, Crab Eggs Benedict, and Chicken & Waffles. Drinks include the Mother Mary and the zero-proof Mamacolada.
Sugar Factory in Boston is offering a themed menu from May 8–11 including dishes like Bloody Mary Shrimp Cocktail, Strawberry Cheesecake Waffles, and the Ay mi Madre! tequila cocktail, set among floral decor.
XOXO Sushi Bar in Chestnut Hill is celebrating Mother’s Day and its anniversary on May 11 with two omakase menus featuring rare aged fish and luxury ingredients. Pricing starts at $150 for 11 courses and $250 for 16 courses.
