Ready-To-Eat Smoked Ribs by Montana’s in Groceries

I love mouthwatering fall-off-the-bone, BBQ pork back ribs and Montana’s now has made it easier for me to enjoy them at home with the launch of their fully-cooked and ready-to-eat smoked BBQ ribs now available in grocery stores.

Disclosure: This is post is in collaboration with Montana’s.

I recently had the opportunity to try Montana’s first-ever retail BBQ pork back ribs. Here’s a look at my experience.

Find them in the refrigerated section

Montana’s BBQ pork back ribs are found in the refrigerated section (not frozen) of the grocery store. They come in 650g packs and retail between $12.99 and $14.99 depending on the store.

Pre-Cooked Sous-Vide

The ribs are pre-cooked for a couple of hours sous-vide so all you need to do is heat in for 25 minutes in the oven or even less on the grill.

How I Prepared the Ribs

I opted to use a conventional oven where I simply needed to empty the bag containing the ribs and sauce onto parchment paper over a baking sheet. I baked the ribs for roughly 25 minutes and basted the ribs with sauce halfway during the heating.

Taste Test

And voila, it was done! No cutlery required as the ribs were fall-off-the-bone, tender, and juicy.

It was great to enjoy the flavour of the ribs marinated in Montana’s signature Texas-style BBQ sauce with a smoky taste and hint of spices.

Overall Impression of Montana’s Ready-To-Eat Ribs

Montana’s ribs are ideal for a quick and convenient meal or as a snack while at-home sports-watching. I enjoyed the melt-in-your-mouth taste and smoky and subtly spicy flavour. The retail price was fair for the quality of the product. I would definitely recommend giving Montana’s retail pork back ribs a try.

I purchased a box of Montanas bbq pork ribs at Costco. They were absolutely disgusting. Even the smell was off. I tasted one bite and spite it out. I will take back for refund. I never been to Montanas restaurant and from what I tasted from this box of ribs I won’t be going. Box said good until 2023/03/08 Maybe this was left out somewhere during shipping but they were gross.
