If you are attending the Luxury Supercar Weekend today, you might just want to indulge in the Hawksworth in the Garden experience. What better way to enjoy the festivities than to enjoy a unique al-fresco culinary experience right in the heart of VanDusen Garden from one of the top restaurants in Vancouver and Canada. Champagne brunch ($60 per seat), lunch ($90 per seat), and dinner (call to inquire) are offered as part of the Hawkworth experience.
Disclosure: I was a media attendee where all food and drinks were complimentary.
Yesterday, I attended the brunch seating at Hawksworth in the Garden. To start, there were platters of seasonal fruit and croissants as well as whole milk yogurt with house made granola, blackberries and blueberries. The croissants were wonderfully buttery and the house made granola had a tasty blend of nutty flavours.
There were two choice of mains: salmon frittata and a brioche French toast. The brioche French Toast had strawberry, crispy bacon, maple whip and mint. I quite enjoyed that the French Toast was not overly sweet and light. The salmon frittata was a nice savoury option with potato, spinach, pickled onion and chive.
All in all, it was delightful to start the Luxury & Supercar event with the Hawksworth brunch. For more information or to book, visit http://www.luxurysupercar.com/hawkworth-in-the-gardend/
