Happy December, everyone! With the holidays just around the corner, I’m sure everyone is looking to enjoy some tasty, festive meals this month. And while you are looking at what holiday recipes to make, don’t forget one very important part. That is, using fresh and quality ingredients to achieve the best possible version of your dish. What better place to help you get ready for the season than Kin’s Farm Market where delivering freshness, friendly customer service, and promoting healthy lifestyles are top priorities.
Kin’s Farm Market has a long history in BC going back to 1983. They started off as an 8-foot long produce table on Granville Island, carrying less than 20 products. Kin’s quickly became known for providing consistently the best produce and emerged as a top selling produce stand on Granville Island. Fast forward 29 years later since their first store location in Richmond’s Blundell Centre, Kin’s now has 29 locations in BC spanning from the West End (where I live) to Chilliwack. I’m happy to say that I have been a longtime customer of Kin’s; they are simply my go-to place for grocery.
Just check out my recent shopping haul where I picked up a butternut squash, kale, figs, tomatoes, hot peppers, asparagus and more.
For some fruitier finds, I enjoy getting blueberries, blackberries and pomegranate from Kin’s.
With quality ingredients, simple, easy to make and delicious recipes can be achieved. One of my healthy fall favourites is a kale salad with butternut squash, pomegranate seeds and feta.
Thanks to Kin’s Farm Market, two followers will each win a $50 gift card, a Kin’s reusable bag and a recipe box to help them prepare for the holiday season. One winner is being chosen from this blog post and the other from Instagram. The giveaways end December 13, 2016 23:59 PST. Open to BC residents only.
For more information on Kin’s, visit them online and social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
