KFC Canada has teamed up with chef and restaurateur Matty Matheson for a nationwide, limited-time collaboration that brings a new lineup of indulgent comfort food to menus starting today. The partnership blends KFC’s fried chicken with Matheson’s bold, maximalist approach to flavour, resulting in a series of items built around melted cheese, caramelized onions, and crispy textures.

The collaboration introduces the Matty Melt Slider, available as a two-piece order, featuring fried chicken topped with cheese and onions on soft buns. For a larger format, the Matty Melt Sandwich builds on the same profile with a full-sized portion of KFC chicken layered with creamy cheese sauce and sweet, slow-cooked onions.

The menu also includes the Matty Mega Melt Poutine, a Canadian classic reworked with popcorn chicken, cheese curds, gravy, and a seasoned cheese sauce for added richness. For those looking to sample across the range, the Matty Mega Feast bundles multiple items from the collaboration into one shareable meal.

Beyond the in-store offerings, the partnership extends to the KFC app, where a Matty-approved secret menu item will be released weekly for a limited time. These rotating drops are exclusive to app users and add a digital-first component to the campaign.
A Toronto flagship location at 1221 Dundas Street West will be temporarily rebranded to reflect the collaboration, with the interior transformed to match Matheson’s visual style and personality. The activation is designed to highlight the new menu and its playful, over-the-top approach to familiar fast food formats.
The full Matty Matheson menu is available for a limited time at participating locations across Canada and through the KFC app.
