OREO Cakesters has expanded their Canadian lineup with the release of Double Chocolate, a new flavour featuring chocolate flavoured creme sandwiched between two soft-baked chocolate cakes.
The new variety builds on the brand’s soft cookie format, offering a richer chocolate profile while keeping the pillowy texture that distinguishes Cakesters from the classic crisp OREO cookie. Each piece pairs a cocoa-based cake exterior with a smooth chocolate creme centre, positioned as a dessert-style snack for both at-home and on-the-go occasions.

The launch is being marked with a limited-time consumer experience in Toronto. From January 28 to February 1, the OREO Cakesters Soft Factory will open at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre, inviting visitors to step into an interactive installation centred on the making of Cakesters and the theme of softness. The activation includes sampling opportunities, photo moments, and a finale featuring surprise merchandise, with select prizes available through a blind-box reveal.

Double Chocolate joins the existing Original and Golden varieties in the Canadian market. OREO Cakesters are sold in boxes containing five packs of two cakes, and are now available at participating retailers nationwide.
