One must-try experience this winter season is H Tasting Lounge’s Winterlust. Stylishly outfitted snow globes allow guests to stay warm while indulging in warm libations and alpine-inspired dishes.
I recently had the opportunity to enjoy the Winterlust experience at H Tasting Lounge. Here’s a look at what you can look forward to.
Cozy, Comfortable Setting
Perfect for date night, girl’s night or an intimate group outing, these chic (and heated) snow globes seat up to 6 guests. Think comfy faux-fur seating, cute decorative pillows, warm candle lighting and so forth. The minimum spend is $200.
Cocktails
H Tasting Lounge is known for their cocktails and their menu for Winterlust includes “Punch,” “Shaken & Chilly,” and “Warm & Cozy.”
One unique offering is the Saturday Morning Cartoons featuring brandy, Irish whiskey, Reese’s peanut cup cereal, lemon, and stout.
Snacks
H Tasting Lounge offers a range of snacks to be enjoyed by guests inside the globes.
There’s nothing like a winter fondue experience and H Tasting Lounge offers both vegetarian and meat & potatoes options.
The vegetarian option includes crusty bread or pretzel rolls, roasted potatoes, tomatoes, broccoli, roasted pumpkin, brussels sprouts, endives, mixed swiss, gruyere, and white wine.
The meat option includes shrimp, sausage, beef filet, crusty bread or pretzel rolls, roasted potatoes, tomatoes, endives, mixed swiss, gruyere, and white wine.
Other snack options include oysters, Bread & “Butter” (sourdough, whipped feta, smoked salt, scallion dust), Kale Salad (roasted sweet potato, maple pecans, roasted fennel), Dungeness Crab Gratin (caramelized onion, crème fraiche, white cheddar), Swedish Meatballs (two rivers grass-fed beef, mustard gravy, honey and hay pecorino), and Two Rivers Postmark Stout Beef Wurst (gewurz curry ketchup, fries, mustard).
PRO TIP: Aside from the fondue, get the Dungess Crab Gratin – so good!
