Glowbal Restaurant has unveiled a luxurious new patio space appointed with luminous details, accented with one-of-a-kind photo opportunities.
Glowbal’s entire street front patio has also been enclosed with privacy screens to create a more intimate dining experience within the bustling downtown surroundings.
The reimagined Glowbal patio space is now adorned with decorative lights, lush greenery and florals, and vibrant patterned fabrics that come together to create a picture-perfect setting in which to enjoy a creative menu of West Coast flavours prepared by the restaurant’s highly esteemed Executive Chef Alex Kim.
Glowbal’s previously unassuming street front entrance now beckons visitors in a dramatic fashion with bold signage and a curved wooden archway that conveys a timeless sense of grandeur.
Once inside the entryway, guests can strike a pose at a new ‘selfie’ station.
The installation features an oversized mirror illuminated with vanity-style lights and a dramatic floral backdrop created by Ashley Johnson of Faux Floral.
Upon arrival in the renovated dining area, visitors will be captivated by decorative accents and luxe furnishings that deliver both style and comfort.
Newly reupholstered banquette seats are set among verdant green hedges while VIP birdcage booths are adorned in colourful foliage and delicate ambient lights.
Heaters are suspended overhead throughout the patio to provide added warmth when needed while a retractable awning offers shade and protection from the elements for year-round al-fresco dining.
Glowbal Restaurant Group’s original flagship restaurant launched in Yaletown in March 2002 and relocated to its current home at the base of the city’s landmark TELUS Garden in 2015.
Ahead of its important milestone anniversary, the restaurant enlisted Vancouver-based interior design firm MONARC Interiors to transform the outdoor patio into an elegant open-air dining area.
Glowbal Restaurant is located at 590 West Georgia and is open for lunch, dinner and Happy Hour service daily from 11:30 a.m. until late, and for weekend brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m.
