Free Cone Day is in celebration of Dairy Queen’s 75th anniversary. Wow, Dairy Queen has been around for a long time!
I headed to my closest Dairy Queen location in Yaletown. The staff was busy catering to the line up of people awaiting the free small vanilla soft-serve cone. The vanilla cone was simple and tasty just like the way I remember Dairy Queen ice cream from my childhood.
